The numbers are selected on the sheets my wife brings home after all the squares are filled too. However, if someone chose to place the numbers before you purchased squares, my guess is the best ones to buy would be any combination of 0, 3, 4 or 7. And if someone playing the game consistantly gets these kinds of squares, that might be an indication that the game is rigged.

exactly--why in states they quit letting you bet 10 minutes before the drawing-what are they doing with that time--figuring what number won't hurt them so bad--no fool here--but what can we do-besides just quit playing--rigged of course

I Know that two People won in Minnesota, BUT they baught a 5 doller Quick pick ticket.I dont know if the lottery is rigged or not but it is just something weird about it. Those people who won from my state was VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY LUCKY

If they are rigged then why the crappy low jackpots in both powerball and megamillions? They would make a $400 million jackpot happen just to get the money from it. Instead both games haven't hit the $300 million mark in years and only looking less and less likely.I get more suspicious of state lotteries not having any footage of their drawings than of the large games. Its all about the money in lotteries - why rig a game for crummy sales?

scratch offs are way worse then regular lottery..atleast with the regular lottery you know that everything is random.. well its analog anyways.while with the scratch offs, there is alot of mathematics invovled, to set the chances of winning, as well as to make sure a certain amount of profits are made..Before you buy that ticket, it was printed long ago if it is a winning ticket or a losing ticket, but with my 6/49, i know that this ticket has not been rigged to win or lose untill that sh*t nigh

They can't be rigged. If you have DSL you can watch the actual drawing off the VALOTTERY.COM web site. The balls come out of the three individual shutes.But I also feel your pain.

One ticket wins $290 million Mega Millions lottery jackpotReply
It seems like all the winning Mega Million tickets and even the Power Ball tickets are sold on the east coast. I was standing in line in IL to buy a ticket a guy told me not to bother, he said they have it rigged that the Power Ball and Mega Millions jackpots will have the Big Jackpot winning tickets sold in the eastern states. It sure seems that way in the last couple years. But I'm still playing both. If I don't play I can't have a chance to win.
