I'd report the clerk to lottery security, and to the retailer's corporate office. Use email so that there is permanent proof that the complaint exists. My reasoning is that they will keep doing it until there are consequences. Why let them ruin someone else's day by stealing $100 or ruin their life by stealing a couple hundred grand or a million from some trusting soul who didn't realize they had a winning ticket and just wanted it checked. Several years ago found a $200 ticket in the trash...took it to another store to cash in and some guy said it was his. Said came from Pilot, not here. Should have just ignored him. Been years since buying a scratcher from a clerk, but remember they scanned each ticket bought. Not sure what FL does in this regard. Do believe in the self service machine each roll is scanned as it is loaded...but will ask without trying to be too nosey next time a refill is witnessed. So if not scanned he'll get caught when trying to cash them in?

Well... I have found a few winning tickets (that I didn't pay for.) Many years ago, I worked in a store that sold lottery tickets. There was a ticket laying on the counter (face down) and I picked it up. It was a Loose Change ticket. You needed to add up to over $1 to win. It was a $40 winner. I went to circle k in North Port....bought 3 scratch...i cant see well and often if no symbol...i let them check it...ive been noticing...you can not see behind counter...that the machine jumps...tonight I KNEW IT WAS A WINNER...she tried to tell me it was NOT a winner...i showed her...she checked on the machine and THAT TIME...it came up a winner..SO check your own close! Hey Cyntar, thanks for posting those great tickets! That Blowout was usually brutal to me...I once got a couple tickets from Publix vending machine in the low 20s and chased ANY win all the down to 000 with zilch, essentially walked away from it at that point so good to see that you got a $500 on it. I seem to be doing much better with the current $500 Madness. Nice looking crosswords too! Not sure I've ever seen all 3 games plus the bonus hit on a ticket, and I've gotten both cash word Bonus
