MM in PA
Why go to New Jersey and not Delaware where you can remain anonymous? Granted Delaware doesn't have many big winners but we've had a few lol. :P

MM in PA
PA does have both MM and PB. PA joined MM in February. PB has been here a while.
No anonymous claims. They don't require a press conference. If you claim through a trust, the beneficiaries of the trust are named. You don't pay state tax on the winnings if you are a PA resident.
Nearby Md, De and Oh allow for anonymous claims.
Md requires non residents to pay 7.5% state income tax; residents pay 9.5% state income tax.
I think OH requires state and local tax to be paid even for n

Anonymous donor gives lottery ticket to Kansas hospital
I am thrilled for the hospital and very thrilled to see that greed does not run this hospital. All the executive director had to do was write her name of the ticket and pocket a cool $10K. But because she is a moral and upstanding person she did the right thing. Too bad there are not more people like her than the greedy folks that run a lot of the large corporations in this world.
Wish I had the resources to donate in order to help them renovate.
I pray that the anonymous donor has many mo

So you won a jackpot! Congrats!
GiveFive,
It's nt that people are ignoring you but this has been discussed here ad nauseam.
Just go to Resources, Search for somehing by clicking on Resources on the blue bar on top of the page, and search remaining anonymous or anything similar.
Basically, remain anonymous, if you can't, keep a low profile, don't flaunt the windfall, don't run out and buy a mansion and a fleet of cars.
I've posted this before but still say it's time for a Jackpot Winner's Protection Program.

If you win the lotto, would you keep a secret from your family member.
No, I wouldn't hide it, but at the same time I wouldn't announce it to the world. Pennsylvania does not allow winners to be anonymous. I know some people are afraid to say no, but not me, I know a few people who won hundreds of thousands of dollars and I wouldn't have the nuts to ask someone for some of their winnings like I was entitled to it.

Traveling to Play Lottery
I am about 40 miles from a state that allows for an anonymous claim of the lottery. My state and the border state have PB and MM. There i a game in the bordering state that has a game with better odds. It's a nice highway drive and I usually stop at this landmark to enjoy the scenery and collect my thoughts. I usually do advance draws, so about once a month I'll buy a ticket for MM and PB and the oher game.

Be Proud...
No matter how private you are winning a big jackpot will change things no matter how anonymous you try to be...the general public may not know but people close to you will...like family, friends neighbors. Once the genie is out the bottle your normal life is over. I choose to embrace it...but you do what you gotta do.
