JackC WTG! EXCELLENCE AGAIN!
DR65 WTG! And keep going!
Technics Thank You for your input. Missed You! WTG!
Yes, they flipped it, that was due too Dee.
I got a bright idea to figure out something that has been bothering me in excel.
The folks that wrote the program for the computer generated mid day number? WHO are they? And more importantly, WHO is watching their bank accounts and standard of living for fraud? That idea just dawned on me tonight, that someone had t

Does A Lottery Winner Really Need A Financial Expert?
The financial community is riddled with FRAUD, just like the government, religious community, and the Health care frauds.
And all of them have the laws rigged in their favor.
Everything that I believed in and heard about when I grew up is a big fat lie.
They will all rob you and don't care if you live or die.
I'm not talking about the side freaks, I'm talking about the main players.
The good news is that if you win a huge lottery you can buy all the justice that you want.

£9 million lottery winner drank himself to death
I agree CARBOB but since we didn't act 40 years ago it's gotten completely out of hand.
Politically appointed judges are now dismissing complaints about voter fraud out of hand.
And the Democrat party in particular has gone from lying and cheating to thuggery and borderline evil while the news media covers for them.
I would support throwing all members of both parties out of office except for a very select few.
I am going to drink a special farewell toast though, to the slimy mo

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (The Details)
RJOh,
Did they determine if there was any fraud?
Do you remember the number 308 in my backtesting of the PA Pick-3?
It hit 23 times when it was most likely to hit only 12 times. And there were several that hit only 3 times.
What's interesting to me is how people are so skeptical of the outliers in random distributions. I'm not a psychologist but I've read about studies that reveal that humans, when given the task of constructing Random sequences, always tend to choose values that dev

POLL - On The Whole Do The Lotteries Provide Truly Random Numbers?
Butch2030,
Because of the potential for fraud, I don't trust computerized results selection and believe all draws should be live, witnessed, and televised, physically observable mechanical processes. However, the observation of results you made above do not prove that the Lottos in question are not as Random as can be expected. To see why, consider the following:
The dates are important: On 2009-11-13, the odds of 01-04-07-14-39 being drawn on 2006-09-21 were 1.0, a CERTAINTY, because it h

Is the Millionaire Raffle ADM Hacker Proof?
My subject line question may upset some, and confuse others. Let me explain. I am a retired computer programmer/analyst with considerable experience designing and implementing encryption systems, as well as intimate knowledge of how sequences of random numbers can be produced. Rather than go into a long and esoteric mathematical explanation of random number generation, I will cut to the chase and direct my question to those who will know exactly what I'm talking about. Hopefully, at least one of

New To Forum - Anonymous question - regarding your place of residence
I'm reasonably certain that the USPO won't let you live in a post office box, and the NY DMV knows what your friend's real address is. You can use one as your legal mailing address, but it's definitely not the address the lottery will use in releasing information about what town you live in. If you live in West Podunk and don't want the lottery to tell people that's where you live you'll have to actually move somewhere else. So far I haven't needed to find out, but I'm guessing that if you live

It's Official, The Lottery is Band?! What Now!
The Roots of Modern Lotteries: The roots of today's lotteries can be traced as far back as the Roman Empire.
Americans got in on the lottery business, too. In fact, a lottery allowed the first American colonists in Jamestown to raise enough money to keep the colony going through the winters. After the Revolutionary War, lotteries became very popular because they provided a way for people to pay for the rebuilding of towns and cities as well as other projects without being taxed.
