Listings of Jackpot > odds?
Using the ratio of the jackpot to the odds as a decision maker as to whether or not to purchase a ticket has it's roots in what people remember of University probability courses. Basically many of us were taught to sum up the product between the value of the outcome and the probability of the outcome as the expected return of an outcome and indeed this is how many large business decisions are made but when used for a typical pick style lottery, there are two fundamental flaws.
The first flaw

Man wins $100,000 in one Pick 4 drawing
Some things to consider. I read a post on here recently asking is it a good idea to play one number many times for one drawing....
- Virginia Pick-4 is a fixed payout. In nj it is pari-mutuel. If the total prize pool in nj were $100K for the Pick-4 then playing any more than 20 times would not increase that player's winnings! Even 60 tickets would pay that much. In VA there is no such situation although I have heard of States cutting off numbers that got overplayed. The VA Lottery site does m

Man wins $100,000 in one Pick 4 drawing
Now thats what I call a gamblers resolve. Picking some numbers and dying or
winning with them even when it makes sense to spread out and increase the odds.
I do the same thing for Mass Cash once in a while, buying 5 tickets with the same
numbers hoping to hit the top prize of $1oo,ooo for a total of $5oo,ooo. So far I've
been unlucky but the struggle continues. Douglas Holland just gave me the encouragement
I needed. W00t!

How many pre-test draws are normal?
A good argument could be made by the lottery is their procedures are their intellectual property and not to be disclosed. Since they admit to changing tubes and holding pre draws and after draws their admitting to the public that they conduct these things be in accordance with whatever by laws they have in their proprietary contract.
Well maybe they shouldn't hide behind fancy law' jargon and supposed contract obligations and just cut the crap. The people aren't stupid, well, atleast the

Better Your Odds on Pick 4
In lottery lingo, combinations with no matching digits are called singles, 2 matching digits are called doubles, and 3 matching digits are called triples in pick-3 games.
The idea here is to chose one 3 digit number and play it in the pick-4 once with all ten digits. If the play was 133, you would play 1331, 1332, 1333, 1334, 1335, 1336, 1337, 1338, 1339, 1330. Personally I would play it in ten boxes rather than as front 3, back 3 or as any other 3 straight and probably play a 3 digit number

Florida Fantasy 5 Predictions
Hello,
Congrats good job. I'm concentrating on Powerball predictions right now. As strange as it sounds with the incredible odds to overcome, I have the belief that I can win a 4+1 or 5+0 with Powerball under the current 59 ball system. I'm assuming with Powerball and MegaMillions cross-licensing agreement that the game matrix is going to change at the beginning of next year to a larger ball set for both games. Once that happens system software guys like me will no longer have a chance to pre

A RNG to practice with...
Todd sorry but that's not what i meant...
please read this thread:
https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/204198/1468303
well that's what i mean...i am talking about an RNG that let's you select any range of the matrix or bonus ball as you like with 1 or 2 bonus ball if you like as high as you like that way you are prepared...Because LP members are going to sweat and gain weight trying to come up with a system for Powerball or their particular game and Powerball every 1 or 2 years is adding

The Palidromes are coming, the Palidromes are coming...
You can use your date of birth to help select the pairs to select the Palindrome to play.
Let's say you were born on March 3rd (3rd month) (3rd day) = 33 =3333 for your Palindrome to play.
Where you have double digits for birth month and day you will come up with more Palindromes to play, but that will also increase your odds of winning.
Example; say you were born October 5th (10th month) (5th day) 10/5 = 01,05 and 15 pairs, Palindromes to play then would be 0110 and 0550 1551.
If yo
