The unwanted ticket thing happened to me just last week. I cashed in a $5 winner and asked for a hot lotto . The clerk ran my win ticket thru, then started punching buttons for the HL. She said a $5 hot lotto, right? I said no, just $1. She punched a few more buttons and apparently couldn't figure out how to cancel what she had already put in, so went ahead and printed the $5 ticket! I used to play GA Fantasy Five in a similar manner as you describe here. Over the years I matched 4 out of 5 maybe a dozen times. One time missed the jackpot by only 1 digit, can't remember exactly but something as close as the difference between 19 and 20. Never could match that 5th number and basically gave up (other than some occasional quick picks) since they added extra numbers to the field of possible numbers from which to choose. 39 numbers from which to choose now. What's depressing

Thanks for the heads up. Most of this info was posted in the last couple pages of this thread, but it's nice to finally see a major lottery publish the rules. I am curious though, Only players with the correct 1/28 number will qualify for the second drawing. Are you sure this is correct? The rules I read before said that every ticket in the jackpot-winning drawing would be eligible. If true though, that could explain why the 1/28 is quick pick only (second-chance/game show entries a

0-3-5 is a number that needs to hit straight. I have a old quick pick, with, 438 and 503. 0-3-3 is a overdue double. 3-4-3 is the longest out double. Good Luck.
