Calif. Lottery may build $60 million headquarters
Ever heard? You obviously ignore state and federal politics.
The U.S. Congress wastes B-I-L-L-I-O-N-S everytime the planet circles the sun. Overpasses in Boston. Bridges in Alaska. Highways in Texas. Air Conditioned Trash Trucks in New York City. Research on why bugs become extinct. Research on why there is an increase in male Blue Birds.
This little Lottery Building is one drop in a gazzion gallon bucket. In the over all picture, it means nothing. Best of all, it cost you NOT one single

Do You Tell?
Do you tell people about lottery post? The other day I was in line to cash in my pick 3 winners and struck up a conversation with the man behind me. He saw that I had winning tickets to cash in and said to me boy you must be a lucky person!
I explained to him that I see numbers but that I also belong to a site called lottery post where there are lots of good predictors. He asked for the URL as he said he hardly ever wins ! I said to him ..You will now!
I also told my husbands bosses son, w

Old People Always Win
That's with 20,000 lottery retailers accross the U.S.A.
There are over 10,000 retailers just in Ohio and I'm sure the larger populated MM states like NY, Texas, and California have many more retailers. Just a guess, but there are probably at least 150,000 retailers in the 12 MM states.
This is one way that the lottery can do to not make the jackpot NOT be won, and let it continue climbing instead of jacking up the price or continually changing the matrix....
With over 175 million po

win for life here and there every where va,ky ga.
Congrats love2005
I too had a thirty dollar winner ....
Waiting till Friday to use the thirty dollar win to purchase thirty lines
Plus getting thirty free lines for a total of sixty lines --
Maybe I will increase my odds of winning {smirk}.......
IMHO: when it is time to win it is your time to win -- meaning 1000 lines vs one line ... mean nothing
But hey -- I will not turn thirty free lines................
Good Luck All

New York Take 5 (My Hometown)
Good job Jackpot. I appreciate your efforts. I think NY is a confounding state to pick numbers for. Particularly to pick a wheel of numbers for. At this writing I feel you can win or increase your odds only by:
1)Being totaly focused on this states game. Knowing each number's history intimately like the back of your hand. So you can capture some numbers in a limited selection.
2) Being all over the place with your selection. Covering as many hunches, possibles, impossibles, should'nt be's

Tennessee Lottery computerized drawings under suspicion again
If you're so worried about tampering why would you think that tampering isn't a good reason for doing pre-tests? You should be thrilled that they do pre-tests, and you should be asking them to do more.
Anyone with a lick of sense would never do a drawing without checking the machine (whether a ball machine or a computer) first, to make sure that it is working properly as far as they can tell. Besides the (very slim) possibility of tampering, there are all sorts of things that could simply go

Mega lottery winner to stick with Ford, ex-wife
Well, no, you're wrong about that.
Using your argument, one can deduce that the odds are 1 in 175 million that ANYONE will win a drawing, because the odds do not increase as the number of purchased tickets increases.
And we all know that the odds of someone winning in any drawing are NOT 1 in 175 million. They are 1 in 175 million divided by the number of tickets purchased.
And if YOU buy more than one ticket, your odds of winning are similarly increased.
Therefore, if you buy 10 tic

Im desperate
I wasn't planning to add another post here but, in my humble opinion, Coin Toss has a valid point. I knew I'd be criticized for saying it, so I didn't. However, what he wrote is exactly what I thought when I read this thread. After all, first All*Star says he can predict the winning numbers, then Guynextdoor writes his first post on April 6 simply to let us know All*Star gave him winning pick-4 numbers. Why wasn't that posted before in any discussion? Then mostwanted said she suddenly got the wi

Powerball lottery jackpot hits $200 million
KY Floyd: If you aren't going to play regularly the sensible strategy would be to make your occasional plays when the jackpot is high. Even for a regular player, the sensible choice would be to concentrate your plays on higher jackpots.
I just did a thought-provoking calculation. It's based on the Pick 3, but applies to any lottery.
Your chance of winning is better if you buy 10 tickets for a single drawing than if you spend the same money buying a single ticket for each of 10 drawings. So

Tonight's Fla. Lotto drawing first to let players increase jackpot
I see two advantages:
1. If you need a minimum jackpot amount of say $10 million and don't want to share, and the current jackpot is only $3 million and you only buy a few tickets it's a way to go.
2. If you only play when the prize is over a certain amount, this is a way to play more often.
I don't see mention of what happens if you buy your combination 3 times for $3 dollars each, can you win $75 million? We've already seen articles about winners who bought the same combination
