Is statistics method really useful to predict drawing number?
I've running a service for almost 5 years to predict lotteries using statistics. I can not share the site or link as per the Lottery Post user agreement. We correctly predicted 5 of 5 in the Rolling Cash 12 times in 2007 and 3 times so far in 2008. To prove my point we are currently running an experiment in the Ohio Rolling Cash Lottery. You can see the top numbers we are predicting under my Lottery Post user name BillSam2008. The fifth line was a mistaken entry on my part and will not be part o

Machines can pick some strange numbers for New York lottery players, but this story is among the strangest we've seen.

Need help with Rain Dream please
Rain
1. If the rain is a gentle one, and especially if rainbows are present, this is a positive symbol, foreshadowing the coming of a peaceful interlude and much happiness.
2. If the rain is heavy, this indicates a change in the dreamer's financial fortunes. Depending on his circumstances, it could be a windfall or a major setback.
3. A major thunderstorm with thunder and lightning indicates a sudden and unexpected increase in wealth, possibly through a legacy.

Programs for dynamic wheel construction?
Well RJOh, I have heard many times in the past of people here saying about constructing wheels (and I mean wheels) based of some filters such as sums. Since I have never encountered such a program by the above means, I requested for input. I'm not talking about generating random tickets to play based on some filters such as sums. The difference here is the guarantee produced. So, the concept of dynamic wheels has nothing to do with random generated tickets which simply pass some filters such as

Vermont could become first state to privatize lottery
Lehman Brothers says a private company would increase sales through new marketing techniques and by using the Internet. The report says lottery tickets could be sold over mobile phones, interactive TV, or even through handheld devices like Blackberries or Palm Pilots
ok...after reading this statement it makes me wonder if it would also allow someone to purchase lottery straight from the lottery commission on-line.........which leads me to my next question if the answer to my 1st one is yes.

Which is the Smarter Bet?
Captain Lotto, I know we all have our personal opinions, but you wrote
It's also important to remember that your odds don't improve by buying more tickets. The odds are the same for every ticket you buy.
Yes, the odds are the same for each ticket, but your individual chances of winning increase if you have 10 tickets instead of 1. You do only have 10 chances out of 7,777 but with a raffle, someone is going to win and a limited amount of tickets are sold. With a jackpot game like PB or

NC lottery to begin Pick 3 midday game in spring
The North Carolina Education Lottery wants to begin a midday numbers drawing early this spring.
Lottery executive director Tom Shaheen says the Pick 3 drawing would be performed identically to the numbers drawing held every night.
The midday drawing would be held Monday through Saturday.
Shaheen says an extra daily drawing would raise more revenues while giving the lottery another opportunity to attract players. Shaheen didn't give an exact start date to lottery commissioners hold

Cheating.
I just tried to help people increase their odds, take advantage of tickets, and in a sense cheat the lottery. My post is in the 'scratch-off' section. I can't post it here. You're welcome.

Is it worth buying a large number of tickets once a year?
Am I the only old f*rt old enough to remember the story of the couple in the early years of state lotteries who tried to do this very thing with about 10X the money you're talking about investing. . .I guess my point being that theory is great but how it works functionally is more important (especially for the person attempting it) in the long run.
Anyway in the days when a 10M jackpot would almost cause rioting in lottery lines. . .this young (had to be young to believe that this atte

Tenn. players picked up on new odds before lottery revealed glitch
four4me said As an experienced lottery director she should have taken the peoples point of view into consideration before switching drawing types. If anyone should be looking at anything they should be looking into why she did what she did. And review there charter processes to see if she broke any of the rules regarding changing lottery drawings.
In Georgia she proved over and over she never cared what players wanted so long as they did what ads told them and kept buying tickets. All w
