Some new results on some old techniques.
Like that one spot where I was watching at for what came next for the 3 draw, I decided to check into it a little further and for all spots. For both draws 3 and 4. This was for the 8-9-13 eve draw here. We had 463 and 5691 come in for the draws. First off, look at where all this data comes from. That yellow over blue section that is circled under columns AF and AG. See if you can see 436 there. Under AI thru AK, where it is circled again and is programmed to show what to look for, you can se

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I have my copy of A+ on a Mini HP computer, since i needed XP to run the program. You can run on more updated versions such as Windows 7 but you have to purchase something from Microsoft to make it compatible. However my MINI is not loading windows, so I actually have not used my A+ program in about a month. (Now that I have cut down on my workout time through effiecient streamling I should take it to PC richards or something to get it looked at) MM and PB is currently my last choice of ga

Finding Pairs with Excel
You might consider adding a four more columns to your spreadsheet...a seperate column for each of the three boxed pairs and the fourth to perform the counts. Do you have the digits separated by position? If so, lets assume that for the first combo you have listed (248) that the 2 is in column C and 4 is in column D and the 8 is in column E....all in the second row. Use the first row as column labels, like date P1 , P2 , P3 . In column F you can enter: =SMALL(C2:E2,1) SMALL(C2:E2,2)

Finding Pairs with Excel
Hey Guys. I'm trying to find a way of finding pairs within a data series using Excel. What I have in mind is this. The data is in each column: 1 2 3 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A 11/01/06 2 4 8 B 11/02/06 6 4 2 C 11/03/06 1 2 4 D 11/04/06 7 7 7 It should output something like 2-4 shows up 3 times. I tried using COUNTIF and a series of other array f

Top 10 Lottery Systems for (Pick2, Pick3, Pick4 Pick5)
Having been down this road my self i can tell you what I have found out so far. With every method I backtest I am always asking myself the question Why does it work the way it works? . I prefer methods that are dynamic as the lottery itself is dynamic as it constantly changes with every game. I have looked at the idea of lottery numbers repeating in certain months year over year. While this can be an indicator like many of the heuristics(rules of thumb) to the lottery like one number

Back Testing Formulas
Many of the Ideas for Systems posted here are formulas applied to the last Draw. A few examples posted recently are LottoLaugh s Runaways and Amber123 s Tesla_Pick-3. Any of these Formulas can be put into a Off Spring Table. LottoLaugh s System has 18,000 Off Spring Combinations (18 for each of the 1000 possible Draw Combinations), while Amber s Tesla System contains 17,000 Off Spring Combinations (17 per 1000). Either of these Tables can be used to produce the combinations In Play for t

Looking for Excel Formula
Depending on Your data source there are several ways to do this. For CA Fantasy 5 I have used this approach. Dates (A), Game# (B) and Picks (C-G) are listed in the first 6 columns in the second row. in the next 39 (H-AT) columns (top row) enter 1 - 39 under each number enter the following formula. =if(countif($C3:$G3,H$1)=1,+$B3,-1) This formula places the game number in the cell if the number in line 1 was in the set drawn and -1 if it is not. Copy the formula in all of the cell

How to count Col B based on Col A
Morning all, I realise that this is probably simple, but I don't know how to do it. How do you write a formula that counts all of the 1's in column B that correspond to the t's in column A ? Col A Col B t 1 h h 2 t 1 h 1 t 1 h 1 t t 2 h 1 t t t 3 h 1 t 1 I range named the 2 columns and I used the Countif , but it counted all of the 1's instead of just the t's . Thanks for any help...

HOT N COLD GRIDS for NEW MEXICO for Lakerben
Your Welcome. You can do this very simply in Google Sheets. Instead of putting the drawn number in one cell, break it up over 3 cells, putting each drawn digit in its own cell by position as drawn, than you can do a 'countif' function over the range of cells for each position. Before you start ---set up in another grid for where you put the results. You can use my position grid as the example--- I have been running tests on this for 103 days, 90 days and now 73. Once d

What is the order of balls in Megamillions before they are dropped?
Preface: I prefer cold numbers by weighting them for low draw count or time since last draw being primary considerations in my calculations. I noticed that the Megamillions machine holds the balls in eight columns. Ten balls in the first three columns, nine balls in the last five columns. Are the numbers sorted like this: (ugh, the preview shows weird column widths and I don't know how to fix that) 10 20 30 9 19 29 39 48 57 66 75 8 18 28 38 47 56 65 74 7 17 27 37 46 55 6
