Elderly man makes the right call on lottery scam
That bites. I am still waiting for my UK Lottery T-shirt and Official Green Laptop and check for a million pounds of something. They're still waiting for the $700 postage and handling for TNT Courier Services . More than I paid for this laptop! It better come with Windows 7! I don't like how they have terrible grammar, poor Photoshop skillz and they want to pay me in pounds which nobody accepts around here! And they don't let you pick your own numbers! Anyway I already won the UK Lottery and eve

Question about Arkansas
I don't think their lottery has been started yet. Legislation has to be passed, and even then it will take time to set-up.
If you live in Arkansas and wish to play a state lottery, you can play the Massachusetts lottery games by subscription. They will send tickets by courier and they don't have any residency restrictions.

You know you're a LP lotto player when:
*The place you buy your tickets has a parking space reserved for you.... and a machine.
*Another place, competing for your business, has offered to send a courier to pick up your playslips.

If you won the $50 million jackpot today.
i would tell my mom only, everyone else who is already tight with me they know that i normanlly spend on them any way, so they wouldnt be a problem, and i would hook them up with some surprise gifts ,( cash ) and since i work for a a courier company they would only know that some distant family member died and sent them some money from his last will and testament, and all at diffirent times so as not to have them wanting to do a search for this dead family member, and i would live happly ever a

Lottery-check scams get more seductive, ingenious
I received an e-mail 2 weeks ago saying that I had won The Margaret Thatcher Foundation Lottery Promotion to send them my info, name, address, state, whether married or single. It was from an e-mail in the UK and I was to contact them. Didnt send any info-but told them to send me info via e-mail. Sure enough they did. It said that I should contact their courier company-British Air Freight Limited for them to send me the money. Of course the cost would be my responsibility!!! The original ad

Giving out lottery tickets for Christmas?
You can buy season tickets, as gifts, from the Massachusetts lottery. They have Holiday specials and it doesn't matter where you live, or where where the gift recipient lives. They are shipped by courier and they charge extra for that. But, it's all perfectly legal. If you are opposed to restrictions, as I am, on the rights of people to participate in state lotteries wherever they live; it's a good idea to participate in the Massachusetts lottery as a point of principle. When other states see how

Lottery Scam
There's new a Lottery scam (new to me at least)going around via email. Over the past week I've received three emails, two allegedly from the UK Lottery and one from the Netherlands Lottery telling me that my email address had been chosen via their computer and entered into a special drawing and that I had won 2.5 million dollars. They wanted to know how I wanted the check delivered. Playing along, I told them I didn't have a bank account so they'd have to send a certified check. Here's the kicke

pick3 after 3 days of testing system
Three days of testing proves very little in the realm statistical analysis and in the compilation of real usable data sets madatorily required before one puts down their hard-earned cash. Besides, I think most of the members in this forum are too smart to fall for these scamming spammers, such as KJ Courier. What a loser! I hope that no one here sends that idiot any money. He should get lost and go find some empty cornfield somewhere. If his business was so successful he certainly wouldn't b

Georgia to sell tickets online
Another thing people are forgetting in this debate is how will the GA Lottery get you your ticket? It is currently against USPS regulations to allow the mailing of lottery tickets across state lines. This restricts states like VA, which offer a subscription play by mail option for their jackpot games, to only allowing those with in-state mailing addresses to play. I know that MA gets around this by sending out their tickets via UPS, which completely avoids the USPS problem. The only other optio

Man Sues Kentucky Lottery for $10 Million
A semi-retired Stanton, Ky., bookkeeper is trying to beat the Kentucky Lottery Corp. over its own game.Ronald B. Hub said he believed the lottery wasn't playing by its own rules and he wants it punished to the tune of $10 million in a lawsuit he filed. In the Jefferson Circuit Court suit he filed without a lawyer, Hub challenged the lottery's claim in a promotional brochure that the single-digit numbers printed on tickets in its Extra Cash games were randomly generated. He cited tickets he bough
