In one state, don't they release the names after a year? I think that would be a nice compromise. Just bump up the 1 year release for people winning 2-3 Million+ because they can afford to move and buy new property with a LLC to keep anonymous, and still stay out of the spotlight. For people less then that dollar amount, let them stay anonymous for 5 years.

What I question is under what authority do they have to display your name on all those screens where they sell lottery tickets. I've seen names of people who won years earlier. It doesnt seem like they are just following the required name release rule but instead using the person's name for publicity. I would make a stink or have my atty make a stink about that. Also, when claiming your award I would make no comments or specifically state they have no right to release your comments to the press.

Yes we know 1 is from last but forgot how many 2nd all you need to do is calculated the hit rate of jackpot and divide the hit rate for 50k and you know many r printed for 2nd! I know 4 are release for sfl when they release the game! They are like 7 million for jackpot hit rate so they can't print that much jackpot because it will go over the book number! They increase hit rate between like version to last! You probably have to be really lucky to hit!

The remaining prizes page was updated on Wednesday for that one, just the press release came out now apparently. Still a press release for a $10 Monopoly prize missing .. and maybe one for $5, don't recall.

I agree with you. I don't think any lottery office is obligated or allowed to release S/S numbers or DOB. They normally only release the name and town in which the winner is from.
