Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Well Nookbrooke, no doubt it would be tough for me to hold on to both of them for awhile, as I know I would be tempted to scratch one but could probably save the other one for some time. I've been holding this $20 GRC for a long time after having come across it in the nearby Publix lotto machine a bit after the holidays red ticket version had disappeared. I had drew the last several of the book from the machine and if I recall they were duds but for some reason I held the 000. I was floored at t

What's the Purpose of the Printed Time of Purchase on Tickets, If Drawing is 15 min to 1 hr Later?
I still suspect that they use it to filter out players like myself, since we play at the last minute...!!
Conspiracy Theories! They are everywhere so why not the Lottery. I have not won anything significant enough for the LSS to notice. Maybe I am on a list because of Lottery Post membership. Maybe my name does not scare them but yours could with that $ replacing an S in Stalker. Maybe they just don't let the Late Buyers Win. The question I ask is how hard do they work against us. I say not v

Lottery machine ejecting partial tickets.
Good call!
Keep the ticket and scan it after the draw. You paid for it. Its yours! The cashier has no reason to throw it away. If anything it would be to his advantage to have it for the lottery rep to show what problems they were having with the machine.

Clerk Prints Tickets Wrong @ $54 Loss to me
I agree with Maddog.
When you said you wanted a ticket with 10 consecutive draws she took it you wanted a ticket with 10 consecutive numbers. And that's what she printed.
The wording 10 consecutive draws might very well confuse people who do not sell a oodles of lottery tickets. And it would have been clearer to say you wanted a ticket for 10 consecutive drawINGS (or a multiple draw ticket).
Its always unfortunate to read about a machine that printed the wrong numbers, or a cle

Vending Machine vs. Counter Scratchers
My best wins are $1,000 and $500 once each as well, and they both came from a machine.
All in all though, assuming the rolls are printed and distributed in an organized fashion rather than truly random I would be inclined to believe that they would intentionally send more losing rolls to the machines and more winners over the counter. Simply because it's much easier, and tons of people do it, to chase one ticket at a time one after another from the machine rather than OTC....easy sales,

Question for all NCEL players...
NCEL obviously has the ability to print an entire playslip on a single ticket (see Mega, Powerball, Cash 5, Lucky for Life). Yet all P4 and P3 tickets are printed 1 number at a time. I know that Ohio defaults to this behavior (1 playslip per printout for P3 and P4).
I was talking with the rep this morning at the store and she said it was a conscious decision to do it 1 number per ticket.
My thinking is basically from a speed/convenience standpoint. If

Hi-tech lottery vending machines- what's your take?
My good ol' Meijer (a Michigan-made Walmart with more focus on grocery) recently installed a hi-tech touchscreen lottery vending machine. When I bought my Mega Millions ticket, it got one number right (70) out of the entire MM number.
However it was HORRIBLE at $1 scratch-offs!
Very lucky and reliable, or does man (with help from the register) triumph over vending machine?

Illinois' new machines strike again
So much for high tech new machines.........
Put a dollar in one of them to get a Lotto ticket........the machine ate the dollar, then showed a message;
COULD NOT IDENTIFY YOUR BILL PLEASE REINSERT
Someone from the service counter was there and said there's not one location in Illinois that has these machines that hasn't had problems....

Undercover Kentucky Lottery investigation snares three store employees trying to steal prizes
The Kentucky Lottery's security department launched an Integrity Testing Program to determine if store clerks were following procedures for cashing winning tickets.
I'd like to have a dollar for every time a clerk told me my ticket wasn't a winner when I knew for a fact it was. But usually it was because the clerk made a honest mistake. A lottery knowledgeable store owner told me it might be because the clerk didn't clear the machine or didn't scan the ticket correctly. That's not saying ther

WHO is going to show you how to win w/ positive R.O.I. Long term
Would any one be able to share their winning idea?
I have noticed where at times in my state that they seemed to stop selling certain numbers. Its usually pick 3 triples. Where the machine simply did not. accept the ticket or print the tickets out.
It's just an idea but if there were a publicly shared method, I think that after a certain number of combinations were sold the lottery would just stop selling those number combinations. Just an idea tho.
