A close look at the Georgia and Tennessee Lotteries
University of Georgia demographer exemplifies general lack of understanding; buys into lottery myth: There aren't people in Brooks Brothers suits holding briefcases standing in line for tickets.
Bob Kilgore lives in Jasper, Tenn., but he regularly buys lottery tickets in neighboring Georgia.
I started playing the lottery in Georgia when it started (in 1993), and I've just kept buying most of my tickets in Georgia, Mr. Kilgore sai

Info On RNG'S
Well, against the who Know or are said to Know better , a person who Really knows do can and does increase his chances of winning a lot, if there is no tampering with the draw's results.
If LP had a safe Time Capsule way of safeguarding predictions untill after the draw, it could be proved.
Anyhow, in the near future within the next 6 to 12months or before that I will prove without the shadow of a doubt that your odds of winning can be increased, at least on the Daily Games .

POLL 2 of 3: Switching to computerized drawings
The problem with switching from ball to computer drawings is that lotteries with fixed payouts and can lose money on some outcomes. And as we saw in Tennessee, computers can be programmed so only certain combinations will come out.
When people go to race tracks they can see how much money is being bet on each horse or dog. Some lotteries publish how much was wagered and paid off on the games, but we'll never know how much was wagered on each losing combination. Race track profits don't depen

Florida Gov. suggests selling the lottery
Florida is actually a pretty good state to run a case study on this issue.
Several years back, they were allowed to raise payouts and had the expected increase in both sales and overall profit dollars as a result.
This lottery has historically been run very bureaucratically - there is measurable room for efficiency improvements. UNless they have changes, I believe the bulk of lottery proceeds have historically been invested in bonds, not direct expenditures of funds. That may hav

Predictions
I understand what you are saying Todd but alot of people post different numbers in the threads than
they do on the prediction board. I remember when I use to check the threads a while ago before I did
things myself and I would put money on some picks and not win but I would see that same predictor
with a win for that draw on the board. The stats shows dollars and cents which I like but if you dont
post in the threads then your rank will never increase. geos has a lower rank than his

Hey guys. Long time listener, first time caller. My real name is Brad. Pealovhap is a screen name I've used since I was into peace, love, and happiness. I live in Perry, GA. I have a beautiful, out of my league wife, and I sell.......well, lets just say I sell stuff to grocery stores and convenience stores for a living.
I've been a lottery nut as long as I can remember. My wife really doesn't understand looking for patterns in the chaos . I've worked for many years trying to develop s

Syndicate
Hi everyone, my name is Claude and I have won big time (40G) at the lottery and I am still winning smaller pots .
I do not beleive in predictions or lottery systems, but I do beleive in Syndicates.
Lottery machines and balls don't have any memory, and they are subject to the law of probability.
There is no way, absolutely no way to beat this law.
But is is possible to increase your chance of winning by joinning a Syndicate.
Thanks
Claude

$5 Powerball Quick Pick Oddity
My theory is that if you are buying a handful of lines, you odds of matching the right numbers is greater than say buying one ticket IE 10 >
The overall odds of winning any prize in PB is 36.61 to 1 but you have to hit 3 numbers plus the power ball or 4 numbers to win $100. If you're betting $5 to win $100, you're only getting 20 to 1 odds on your money while somebody betting $1 is getting 100 to 1 odds. How does betting more money increase the odds?
Granted by playing 5 combinations,

Is it possible...
Is it possible to use multiple methods to corner or squeeze and identify winning numbers for the next drawing?
What I am thinking of is using several different analysis methods, coming from different angles of approach to identify the next drawing winners. Like using a piece of this system, and a part of that one. I was thinking of something like starting with multiplying the previous drawing by Pi, etc. and taking those results and comparing it to other systems/methods results in ord

So you have the winning ticket, now what?
Lotteries don't collect jackpots, they pay them. If you go back to your other post about it you'll see that your question has been answered.
Uncle Jim did a really good job of explaining most of the typical process.
You can currently give up to $12,000 *per year* to each recipient without triggering the gift tax, with some cumulative lifetime limit. I believe that limit is still $1 million, though the estate tax exemption has been bumped up. Some gifts aren't subject to the exemption l
