PA Official Sues the Government.
It is called At Will employment, the alternative is called Just Cause where an employer needs to show just cause why they fired you. It varies by state.WHat's the greater wrong here? At-Will isn't really even a law, but it is a tool far too often abused in the outsourcing of thousands of jobs... I think the at-will abuse is the real crime here. It's a stupid law that never benefits an employee...Every year they release the Top 20 places to work in Pennsylvania .... pretty soon it will loo

Tenn. lottery fans make fewer runs for the Kentucky border
Gene Dotson is something of a video-game-stool philosopher of luck.As a regular lottery player, the retiree from Nashville has good reason to think about these things.''Is there such a thing called luck?'' Dotson asked Tuesday, a twinkle in his eye and a cigarette between two fingers as he played a video poker game at a lottery outlet just north of the Tennessee-Kentucky line, 36 miles from home. ''Is it who you are? ''Why do people keep doing it? Why do I keep doing it?''Whatever the cosmic an

Lottosync 1.8 Free predictions newsletter
I'll add another vote for Florida. You could cover a lot of people by doing MegaMoney, not Florida though. :-(You don't have to release a demo unless the idea is for people to win and as a result buy the program. Considering your field I'm surprised you don't do a downloadable computer playable animated video showing it going through the process. Be careful about making actionable claims of prize winning powers as the U.S. is lawsuit happy, guess this would apply to any advertising claims. If

Lottosync 1.8 Free predictions newsletter
cleary there is interest for this.looks like an awfull lot of different lotteries are being requested. It will be difficult to satisfy everyone with this newsletter.maybe lantern is right. maybe I should release a minimalized version of lottosync for free on the web that shows you the 3 most likely numbers for instance. I'm not sure. We've never been keen on giving away demo versions or sort of that, but maybe a version that just predicts 3 numbers would be a good thing. This way it's still only

Who Would You Tell?
To add to my last post, I would wait a month or so to let any hype die down, then I would claim my ticket with as little publicity as possible. I live in a small town, and if news of a lottery winner in the town got out, the newspaper wouldn't stop until they found out who it was. For that reason, I buy my jackpot lottery tickets out of town when I can. I travel out of town two or three days a week. If the press release said that a winning ticket was bought in a larger town 40 miles down the roa

Crunch System
Oilbath,I am sorry that I could not answwer earlier. I was on a business for a week and just got back. I had only limited internet access during that time. I noticed that even my PM area was full of questions which I will answer during the day....The /+L/ command in the CRUNCH means that after the /+L/ a new list starts. It is used for sorting the results within the priorities, to give the numebrs that occur a frequency and due ranking position. It is not used for saving the rpevious results an

Lottosync v1.7 bug report !
Reaction to WIN D:Obviously windy is just throwing in big words he does not understand. I don't bother my system being an object of much debate here, but I do bother when someone tries to confuse other members by using seemingly smart terms that apply to the system as much as my dad's socks do.------------------Glad to be back at the forum after a stressy 2 months of non stop working!I've seen too many people requesting 1.8 to ignore. So we are going for it. Currently we are planning everyth

Simulotto
Quote: Originally posted by Many on March 30, 2004Hi,Has anyone used Simulotto and can you tell me what you think of it?ThanksIt appears to be a dead dodo. The site http://www.simulotto.com says they have stopped selling it due to a lack of sales and all sites offering a download of the demo link to the same ftp which refuses to release it. For what it's worth, the description sounds like it uses the same concept as Max-Hits, which is to run off hundreds of randomized predictions and ranking t

Record Mega Millions jackpot still unclaimed
It's been 12 days since the single winning ticket for the $239 million Mega Millions lottery was announced, but no one has claimed the jackpot.Officials of the 11-state Mega Millions lottery say the winning ticket was sold Feb. 20 at the Red Apple convenience store in Stephens City, Va., the Washington Post reported Wednesday.Penelope Kyle, executive director of the Virginia Lottery, said two mysterious lawyers called her office to say they represented the winner but they both have vanished.Ot
