Alleged high-tech roulette scam "easy to set up"
An alleged high-tech roulette scam that saw three people walk out of a London casino with 1.3 million recently sounds too implausible even for a movie plot. But a physicist who developed a technology-based system that famously beat the wheel in the 1970s has told New Scientist that in theory it would have been fairly easy to carry out with a little know-how and the right tools. Two men and a woman were arrested on 16 March after raking in a huge win over two evenings. Suspicious casino staff are

Has Anyone Tried Gail Howard's Software?
Quote: Originally posted by prob987 on March 23, 2004Anyone who is selling software with that claim is scamming you.If it worked so well, they wouldn't sell it; they would simply keep winning lotteries and keeping the money. That's what I would do, and if you think about it, so would you.The lottery is random. There are ways that you can reduce your odds per ticket (for instance, if you spend $10 playing exactly the same ticket) but yo cannot increase your odds by more than the lotteries odds

Tennessee lottery sale drop-off is less than expected
Since the first scratch-off lottery tickets started selling more than a month ago, sales have been declining. That was expected as the initial euphoria with the lottery wore off. Sales volume has dropped to roughly 49% of what it was during the first seven days of the lottery. That usually happens after the first week, Rebecca Paul, Tennessee Education Lottery Corp.'s president and chief executive officer, said of what she had seen with other start-up lotteries.By that measure, then, Tennessee's

$222M Mega Millions lottery jackpot has Jerseyans dreaming
A surge of ticket buying has swelled the jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery game to at least $222 million -- a figure that could go even higher before Friday night's drawing. That had lottery players -- the regulars and those who jump in only when jackpots border on the obscene -- trying to comprehend nearly unfathomable riches in the third-largest jackpot ever offered in New Jersey. If I won, my wife would have my face on the side of milk cartons, 'cause I'd be missing, said Jim Mc

How is it possible?
Quote from FWUP The answer is the same chance as any other number . Why? Because the balls don't know what number is painted on them. Balls don't pop up into the chute because of some mathematical progression of numbers. They pop up because of physical attributes of the balls, container, air supply, etc. The number painted on them is irreldvent. End Quote Have you ever done wheather testing.. or vacum testing of any kind???Lets get physical then... Yes.. the balls do not know what numbers are

Strongly worded letter sent to lottery director before his death
After being directed by Gov. Tim Pawlenty, the state's finance commissioner has worked with the Minnesota State Lottery since last spring to tighten operations, but enough lapses continued that a strongly worded letter was sent to lottery director George Andersen shortly before his death, the Pioneer Press reported.Andersen resisted one of the Finance Department's key recommendations and did not address another major shortcoming identified by the agency. That led, in part, to the letter by Finan

Struggling family wins $77,777 jackpot
Patricia Fields' father always told her that good things come to those who wait, and that if she was thankful for a little, one day she would have a lot.The 48-year-old Woodstock resident was able to understand the true meaning of those words this month.Fields went to a local 7-Eleven to buy her usual lottery ticket. She said she just played for fun, only purchasing the occasional ticket when she could. She never expected to win anything, and if she did, it was a few bucks here and there. But thi

Steve Player systems - Anyone use them?
Here's my experience with his systems. The first time I ordered his system was when I got his ad in the mail and it was for the Isis system. It sounded interesting but for $495. His ad sounded pretty good, price is high so I figured it must be of high quality. I was somewhat disappointed. His Isis system didn't give me a system to pick numbers, it was basically just a discription of how to use the dollars from your winnings (how you actually win you have to figure out, not a part of this system)
