Is it worth playing the lottery with those odds?
You lose most of the time because 32.5% of your ticket (65 cents) gets added to the jackpot, which someone else invariably wins. The state keeps about 50% of your ticket as profit, leaving only about 20% for lower prizes, most of which are very difficult to win. PB is the opposite of a slot machine, where most prizes are less than the jackpot, which gives you a reasonable chance of winning something, even if it's not the jackpot. The large majority of time that you do win, it's not the jackpot.

Why dont lotteries show the Day and Time the winning ticket was sold??
I personally know the guy who once been tr?cked down by a store clerk, who claimed that my friend bought a ticket that won $600.000. After the draw, lottery organisers informed the store where ticket was sold at what time the winning ticket was sold. And thought their video monitoring they pinpoint my friend as the one who bought that ticket. (as he was one of the regulars, buying large amount of tickets). He came home to look for the ticket, only to find out that his wife had thrown his pants i

Glad you have 1267 as keys, i decided to play silly tonight so I filled out my ticket by only 1 key number and let the machine quick pick the pairs. And it gave me
153, 255, 628,041. It was only 2 bucks and I get silly when I'm tired so what the heck.
Couldn't hurt but thanks for the heads up. Have to get dinner on the table. just wanted to share my silly quick pick story.

Connecticut lawmaker may request hearings over costly drawing error
Mess with a certain amount of government money and the government will get involved but if the amount of money is lower the government will not care.
How much money from the drawing had it gone correctly would have gone to the government?
But when a scratch ticket gets miscut in a machine the government does not care since it is such a small amount.

Congratulations Lady!--you have been working hard for this! Keep it going! Only reason I got the 413 is funny story. It is one of my regular plays; however last week I was running my P3 tickets through vending machine at lunch. One got stuck--did not come out--this was early in the week. Later in the week I thought Hmmm, I better see which ticket is missing. it was 413--I have a plastic sleeve I keep my tickets in and I have those numbers written on outside. Sooo it was then I realized my 413 is

Warning: minor rant!
I finally had to tell this certain clerk where i play my numbers, how to properly handle my tickets. Yeah it might sound like i'm whining but i have this OCD thing about how i like might tickets nice and flat and not bent up because the dude dont know how to remove the ticket from the machine. I also had to tell him to stop trying to tell me how much my plays cost if you dont let the machine finish printing whats on the playslip... uhhh that'll be $2, no wait...that'll be

I tried the trick yesterday where you mark the ticket as QP but select some of your own numbers too.
Pleasantly surprised to see this worked in TN ( I used the self service machine at Kroger, the fully computerized touch screen one even though I m NOT a fan of these but that s a different story)
i marked the 8 and 37, plus chose quick pick as the option. I didn t win anything on this line but it s good knowing it s an option
i can t believe the 2 fell as the cash ball. 2s and 4s only

I tried to cash a $600 p4 ticket one time and when she scanned it the machine said to take it to the claims office.
...just like the directions I just posted to you which is on the NC website...do not understand about that $1 difference but that's the way it is here in NC.
You don't have to pay taxes on $600 so it doesn't look like you would have to take it there.

I got this ticket through self-kiosk. Very Interesting fact is, whenever the machine takes A PAUSE FOR FEW SECONDS WHILE PRINTING, it is always a very close call.
And it always act this kind of behavior when result turn out to be double.
