funny stuff, on one hand Cesium 137 is considered a good source of entropy while Cesium 137 runs atomic clocks because of it's resonant stability...atoms (and molecules) have resonances; each chemical element and compound absorbs and emits electromagnetic radiation at its own characteristic frequencies. These resonances are inherently stable over time and space.read more about atomic clocks here... http://www.howstuffworks.com/question40.htmand an interesting article about the beta decay of Cesi

Jade,You sound very put-upon, and you saying that that article is about Jack's sexual preference is laughable. I'm not going to debate you, other than to say that if you win a record Powerball jackpot, and then get caught in a strip club, I'll report it. Other than that, I really don't care to hear about it.

Winning Powerball lottery ticket in dispute
I agree that it seems to be happening more and more. However how much of this has happened in the past. These stories have been seen more here at Lottery Post because of the news feature that Todd has for us to read lottery related topics. Local and national newspapers would place an article like this in the back pages with only a short paragraph on the topic if reported at all.Articles like this has made the forum members more aware of the importance of their lottery ticket from purchase to saf

Self-service machines coming for Texas Lottery games
lottery vending machines sound great. no more hassles with cards at the counter and trying to explain to the new clerk at the convenience store what 'powerplay or advance draw' means.just the other day i asked for 5 megabucks tickets and it wasn't till i got into the car that i noticed i'd been sold 5 powerball tickets instead. i kept them anyway. i'd love to use a lottery vending machine as long as it also offers 'my-pick' option as the article says they plan to do :)

Woman Says Store Clerk Stole Winning Lottery Ticket
if found guilty, i certainly hope they throw the book at that guy and shut down his lotto terminal for good...and the gall of him offering her another $100 if she keep quiet about the incident. if what she says is true, and the article sure seems to support her claim, she deserves a whole lot more back from that fellow than just the prize money. i'd love to sit on that jury :)

Winners wish they'd lain low
I wonder if Ms Jamison could have hide the facts of her winnings since South Euclid has revised its city tax laws to include lottery winnings. They tried a couple of years ago to collect taxes on a jackpot winner and the State Supreme court rule against them because it was not in their tax laws before the player won. According to a local article Ms Jamison will be paying over $1.4M in city taxes in addition to State and Federal taxes.http://www.nbc4columbus.com/news/2746083/detail.htmlRJOh

Lottery, legislators tug at unclaimed jackpots
Somehow this article was passed over because of the holidays. As lottery players, we should be fighting to have unclaimed winnings available in future games/drawings.

First Tennessee Games Revealed
smd173 -The article didn't refer to the number of winners who cash in their tickets, it was referring to the chances of winning. There are going to be x amount of tickets printed and y amount of million dollar tickets.
