Poll - RNG, auditors and game fraud
Nothing generated by a computer can be monkeyed with . Computers are extremely stupid machines that will only do exactly what they are told to do, and the instructions have to be very explicit. The only way to make the program purposely generate a non-random result is to write instructions to do so.
As far as nobody being the wiser about what was written if the code is changed, you're making an awful lot of assumptions. I certainly wouldn't claim that the lotteries are perfect in their over

Poll - RNG, auditors and game fraud
Even thought i said: If the programmer made the RnG so that in draw number 22, the digits 88 will appears and for it to follow a numberic series or mathematical series, that only the programmer will know then there is no way that the auditor will know....if he knows that draw number 10, 24, 61, 112 (numeric series) the number 2 3 will come up, then no one could noticed it..
Even though i said that, It is not efficient, because if they do pre-testing, it will mess up the count (i should ge

new jersey lottery is being shut down
Just so you know, Christie Whitman is the cause of the State's bankruptcy. She is the originator of the idea that you don't have to pay for what you get. She cut income taxes for her rich friends, and started using accounting tricks and outright fraud to run up big debts. McGreevey was fool because he didn't have the courage to face that fact, but the fact is that unless you pay for what you get, you go bankrupt.
This should be obvious but for some reason, people find it mathematically

Arizona man proposes lottery to increase voter turnout
Lottery tickets are fun I guess, but if they seriously want a bigger turn out, try these.
*Elections free of fraud and electronic voting machines.
*Elections where the candidates and parties represent the interests of the American people, not corporations, the military, multi millionaires, Israel or Saudi Arabia.
*Elections where the two major parties won't act in collusion to toss billions of your tax dollars away in useless and vile foreign wars. Unless there are people who enjoy b

Man charged with forging lottery ticket claims it was a joke
Miller is awaiting a May trial in Dauphin County.
Am I misunderstanding this? Why would the man who found the ticket be charged once it was established that he was fooled by a scam? That doesn't make any sense to me. Remember the man in MA who found a ticket in the trash and then someone said he accidentally threw it away? If the ticket was fake and just a prank, it would have simply been an honest mistake, right? I don't know why someone who finds what he thinks is a legitimate winnin

After the Win: Who do you consult?
Quote: Originally posted by Dream on April 4, 2006 Talk to your relatives and friends. They sure will help you manage your finances. Just kidding. You should consult a financial firm like Merrill Lynch or other big firms. They will be able to help you with everything you need, setting up trust, minimize tax liability, invest and so on.
Merrill Lynch? Google Merrill Lynch and key words like fraud and lawsuit! How about Paine Webber? I'm sure you'll come up with a few links! You don't have

Penn. woman sues for share of winning lottery ticket
If plaintiff can establish: joint venture, joint undertaking, joint enterprise, or joint adventure; and the proceeds or winnings from the lotto ticket were the results or profits from that joint undertaking, than plaintiff shares the winnings.
Additionally, if I were plaintiff, and if I can establish that,
- respondent absconded with the winnings (which were actually proceeds from the joint undertaking);
- with the intention of not sharing the proceeds with me (which tantamounts to f

ABC duped by Powerball lottery winner hoax
We spent a lot of money buying people's lunches. They had a thrill. . . . Nobody got hurt, he said. It's kind of like a magic trick - a magician lies to you.
The only person it might have hurt was the real winner and the anxiety created if he is currently getting his affairs together and forming a Trust or LLC. How would you like to turn on the tv and see somebody claiming your money? I think after getting all that money, however, he'll get over it! I just hope there wasn't somebody st

Is the Lottery (PB/MM) corrupt?
Quote: Originally posted by WorldWide777 on February 4, 2006 Hello,
It seems like an inordinate amount of people who are members of Lotterypost believe there is some grand conspiracy, fraud, corruption, or unfair practices going on with the Lottery . I am mainly referring to Powerball and Megamillions, but any comments on state lotteries are welcome.
Who believes the LOTTERY is rigged? If you do, please share your stories for all of us to read. Also, if you do believe it's rigged,

Poisson's tables of repeating #'s
Hey,
Thanks for the replies... I got some interesting comments. The most interesting is from Greg would said the Powerball computers don't have all of the numbers in the matrix involved in the quickpicks. If this is true, that is absolute FRAUD! I have emailed MUSL and asked them if this is true, so I will let you know of the answer.
Also, nobody seems to know about the Poisson's tables of repeating numbers. The people at MUSL are the ones that informed me of Mr. Poisson and his sta
