Hmm... I'm seriously wondering how many tickets were bought. I wonder if it was a bunch of millionaires that pooled their money together. I'm not saying it happened but there has been talk about it. I know there was a lottery pool at my work today of $800 total play and those ticket purchases took way shorter than I thought. Tell them it's not gonna help lol. Some people in a department where I work put down $3,000 on the last drawing and only won $7!!! They set it up to where the pool members could just throw in as much $ as they wanted on tickets instead of everyone just buying one.
This time they'll just be buying one per pool member LMAO.

If the Buyer purchased a lot of extra Powerball tickets and WON ANYTHING or WON the JACKPOT, YOU would be claiming that YOU are entitled to a part of the winnings, even thought YOU did NOT contribute as much $$ money $$ to the pool as everyone else did. The rest of the pool members might then have a problem with splitting the winnings with YOU, b/c YOU did not carry your part of the financial burden of the cost of all of the tickets in the first place !!!
