Can lottery random be predicted?
An aspect to consider is the vast majority of lottery numbers games have roughly a 50% overall payout. Players are a huge disadvantage right out of the gate. So even if one has a system that seemingly works, it's near certain it won't be enough to cover the 50% gap... Search the forums here for computer randomizer problems. In some instances, players noticed discrepancies that favored some combinations over others (ie. no duplicate digits, some favored over others), and yet even if players ha

Steve Player's Pick-5 game using pick-3
Here's the 537 matrix file for download: Breakdown of the 537matrix Still trying to decipher what I'm seeing. Had some thoughts of breaking these into back digit patterns of 4 and even doing the 5 back digits, not sure that would be much help. Texas has 5700 draws, including pre-tests, about 19500. To track every back 5 digit pattern would mean huge blocks of zero results. (Can't extrapolate from a zero.) Might make more sense to track them as boxed digits. Not a fan of Steve Play

1st post...
Firstly, the Powerball drawing, which still uses the traditional bingo like balls, is held in only one location, so the particular state one plays in makes no difference in regards to hitting the jackpot. The biggest factor for the states lead in the jackpots is the number of players in them who participate - it's no surprise California and New York are at the top. However, this does NOT effect the odds of winning one bit; it's meaningless. Same chance of winning no matter what state one play

Mathematics and the Lottery
Probability and game theory have been around for a long time. When looking to increase our chances of winning a prize our only options are to find fault with the mechanism used to generate the numbers and/or play smarter. All systems should incorporate one or both of these options. Play as smart as we can and hope for the best using as much math as possible in our search. I enjoyed the article but there are some things which sound similar but really have nothing to do with each

New Systems Forum just based on real stats and facts!
WIN D, I'll share my thoughts on the casino-style online games. A couple of years ago, I did my own personal study in an attempt to help a buddy determine how legit such a thing would be but, we were looking at Roulette. After a little research on the companies that provide the software which powers these games, I began to do some 'demo' sampling on a couple of different sites just to establish similarities and differences. Now, our idea wasn't to become rich on this deal deal. It would be desin

Best time NOT to play doubles is...
Check out how many times your STATE had 3 doubles in a row last year or for the last ..... 365 draws. We would be lucky to get more than 8 or 9 times a year. So, around 90% of the time we would be good to go ..NOT playing another double for the 3rd. day. So, how many times a year should we expect say...... 4 doubles in a row? Out of the average 99 doubles per game per year we get....... MAYBE 1 or 2 !! ============================================================================

I think the systems or methods for predicts the lottery is illusion.
So, easy. Doing an independent /past-data-non-inclusive method, we do this (California D3): 1) Divide the pool of 1000 numbers into fourths (quadrants). 2) Fill out your fourth as all Straights. 3) Don't play, but wait until your quadrant has been out for eight times in a row, i.e., fully twice around the board. This is to play it safe, and it may take a while to get there (you may also want to play it safer, and increase the amount of plays you have to wait; or, if you feel risky, wait

Missouri Gov. orders review of Lottery operations
The lottery needs to do several things to encourage play. Some examples would be: -Increase the payoff amount. Right now it's around 50% of the take. Para-mutual betting pays around 90%. -Allow winners a choice to claim publicly or remain anonymous, in every state and every lottery, not just the few who allow it now. -End double and triple taxation of the prize. Right now the winner only gets 50%, which means they just were taxed, in effect, 50% of the take. Then they hav

According to my retailer there is a new national lottery game coming
Another way of looking at this is that Illinois might be a state where the Director is greedy. Most of the directors got their jobs because they have demonstrated they know how to maximize greed. In other words, every action is designed to increase lottery profits by minimizing player payout. Tennessee is a prime example where the lottery is used to siphon money from players with little payback. If true, then a game that guarantees players can win a million in cash isn't going to be
