Florida Fantasy 5's New EZMATCH
I just bought 3 quick picks for tonight, and I was dissapointed to say the least. I also got the EZ match along with the 3 tickets.
Talk about computerized cheating. I didn't know that the numbers have to match the numbers I selected. That's a bunch of huey. I thought they have to match the drawing.
Think about it. The computer sees the numbers and says ok, we know what numbers you're playing and we'll make sure none match. We'll make a couple of people happy by matching their numbers, jus

ABC duped by Powerball lottery winner hoax
HAPPY SATURDAY.... JUST
Yes, I do remember the show you speak of, it was indeed interesting, comical and also insightful to some degree, especially as the Bosses really were being tested, on patience, understanding and trust. I too agree w/your statements....as listed below:
Imagine a prank where you tell someone he won the lottery and he's gullible enough to believe you. So he quits his 20 year job only to learn it's a prank. Some of them are cruel, like making someone believe his or

Woman 'hiding lottery win from husband'
Chewie, that what you posted is simply outrageous.
The reason why I applaud this woman is simple: she kept her winnings a secret to protect her husband from potential drug abuse.
In marriage, we are taught to love, honor and cherish our spouses. Did she cheat him out of the money? No. Did she still stay with him even though because of his previous drug abuse they almost lost everything? Yes. So, chewie, I ask you, doesn't this prove that she honored her vows?
This has nothing to do

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
Greg:I'm with you - except for the part about Delaware. I'm not saying you're wrong; only that I don't know enough about Delaware's lottery commission, their draw methods or their scandal history to be able to judge.I do know that the Hoosier Lottery uses methods similar to what you describe, except that their RNG software contains code meant to scan the database to find the number with the least amount of play.LosingJeff and I have spent the better part of three years gathering evidence against

Landmark bill would ban computerized lottery drawings in Delaware
I didn't know I needed to state my city of origin and whether I was not with a Lottery for you to sanction me as credible. Well, I am not with a Lottery. Yes, I was born in Philly. Southside, born in 1947. Grew up in Wilmington in Browntown. Male. Vet. Systems Engineer by trade, B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State. Go Lions....Anything else? Do I also need to agree with your oversimplified view (blame) of why people don't win at lottery games now? Specious? Wow. How much more insultin

Sums in Pick-3 good or bad?
Thank goodness Bobp! I was afraid I'd have to throw out my Sums Strategy. LOL I'm glad to hear you say that about the experts and their saying blah blah on the propensity of certain Sums to hit more often than others. Sure, on the old 1-37 chart everything was Bogus. It was an un-even distribution of the numbers and worthless as far as I was concerned. Now that we have the 10 column Sums Chart it makes math averages and Probabilities a part of the game and we can antcipate these Sums and the

Are Lotteries Rigged
To johnph77:No, there is no mandated minimum payout for any of our games. Thanks for doing the math on the payouts, though. This is valuable information that I can use in my little crusade. I don't necessarily agree that this discussion is outside the scope of this forum (after all, the header reads, Are Lotteries Rigged? ), but I certainly don't want to offend anyone here, so this will be my last post on the matter. This is my battle and I had no right to involve any of you in it. Actually, I

II. History of Gambling in the United States
Examining the history of gambling in North America suggests important conclusions that are useful today in considering policies related to gambling.
The United States has had a long history of allowing some forms of legal gambling and a degree of tolerance of illegal gambling.
Societal tolerance and acceptance of legal gambling can change rapidly. Scandals and political control by gaming interests have led to backlashes which result

"Martyrs of the Race Course."
Numbers gambling is the type of gambling of primary concern in this book; this is a game where bettors pick three numbers (and could bet any amount of money, including less than one dollar). To prevent cheating, the three numbers had to match three numbers published in the newspaper later that day. Sometimes the numbers consisted of the total amount betted at the racetrack that day (the last three digits). Of course, bettors three-digit picks were guesses, but those guesses could win you several

Texas Senator threatens to defund the Texas Lottery
I can answer that. Anyone can call them self a professional lottery player . And develop winning strategies.
Not true. A significant majority of players lose more than they win because they have not developed a winning strategy.
But buying 25 million + tickets containing all the possible combinations by conglomerates are not professional lottery players . They are simply gaming the system and cheating all the other players.
Buying the Jackpot ok I get it. However, my biggest issue i
