quick pick or your own numbers
Hi everyone,
I usually pick my own numbers with not much success. Saturday night I bought 11 tickets with my carefully analyzed selections. Got 2 numbers on 2 lines which won 2 free quick picks. One of those free quick picks actually had 3 numbers and I won $9.00 so played for free this weekend.
If you don't play quick picks, how much time do you spend selecting your numbers? It takes a few hours for me, then when I have so much time invested in it, I have to play even th

Powerball lottery jackpot reaches $250 million
100 TICKETS......?????......you neeeeeedddd to win....
Do you prefer qp .....(quick pick)...???....In MD.... qp is a joke, and not very funny
I prefer to make up my own series.....starting w/the #5, or 2 or 6, or 1, or 7, or 4...however I think I must be using very conservative numbers, and I try to invent series beginning w/10 or 20, 24,33, or 19, something unusual because this seems to be a trend sometimes. Strange numbers....lolololololol
In the District.... qp is usually also a

Largest Lotto South winner ignored wife to play lottery
Once a week for the past three years, Rome (GA) millworker William Griffin laid aside $1 to purchase a Quick Pick lottery ticket, despite his wife's objections.Last Saturday, Griffin seeing that the Lotto South jackpot had reached $27 million decided to splurge, plunking down $5 for five chances. It ended up being worth more than $15 million to Griffin, who won the largest Lotto South payout in history.Griffin's prize will stand as Lotto South's largest. The Georgia-Kentucky-Virginia lottery

Phased Ocurrence Comparisons
Hi, Thanks everybody for your input. Paint1, For 6/47 here is one of my summaries over 201 games. The top horizontal row identifies lottery ball (1-5). The vertical column identifies how many times each occurrence occurred. So, Paint1, your assumption appears to be basically correct. My chart below would say that the best bet over a 5 game span would be 0-times, 0-times, 0-times, 1-times, and 1 to 2 times for the last ocurrence value. This proves to be a valuable filter, however it also leaves

Winning a Jackpot, Luck or Fate/Destiny?
even if/when i do say it (which i didn't in this thread), you've lost your sensibilities if you think that it is more than just an opinion.so what if my views are narrow and exacting. it is what i believe how God is , and i respect the fact that you don't. do you see me whinning that you don't? others believe it as well. you know my views on the lottery being totally random. they are just as narrow . where are you on that one? if you are consistent and fair, you should be taking me t

Lottery winners right to privacy
In my opinion you're dealing with a form of public funds since lotteries are voluntary taxation, therefore the winner has to be disclosed in some manner to inform people that it was not a rigged draw. Found this on the Powerball site where laws in LA permitted some anonymity. I'd personally find a good tax attorney, which would be needed anyway, and let them do the talking. $14 million Illinois lottery jackpot expires
The llinois lottery is used to damaged, lost, destroyed tickets all the time. They know what there doing, and have awarded winnings when the ticket appeared damaged beyond readablity to the untrained eye. They have also encouraged persons who where denied to file a claim and let a judge make the final order. While its true the lottery will not accept a copy of a ticket, it does not mean that the said ticket cannot be proven to be the real deal . As before, serial numbers, bar codes, etc. there

Like most parking lot attendants, Juan Rodriguez knows how tantalizing and frustrating it can be to drive a luxury car, only to have to surrender it all too quickly for a pair of crumpled dollars. But now, after 20 years of anonymous toil for a legion of well-heeled motorists near the United Nations, the Colombian-born Ozone Park resident can sit in his own heated leather seat.Sunday, New York Lottery authorities declared him the winner of the largest jackpot ever won in the state, $149 million.
