North Carolina: 11/1 - 11/30/2009
So,why is it SOOOOO VERY HARD to beat NCEL? OK here is why:NCEL actually has the game RIGGED odds wise in thier favor. They just didnt create a game out of the thin air without a lot of insight on thier part towards creating revenue for the state of North Carolina...and if Vegas had this kind of odds rigged in thier favor they would have been shut down a long time ago but NCEL can get away with it because theyre the GOVT. NCEL only pays 80 dollars for a combo on a 1 dollar bet so if youre r

North Carolina: 10/1 - 10/31/2009
I'll be the first to admit that I get a little PO when my #'s dont pop and a repeat hits AGAIN after only 20 draws....its called the nature of the beast and everyone out there does the same thing... So is NCEL rigged? No its not rigged...! but its ok to get mad,I guess and vent just a little. The one thing Ive learned about lotto post is that NO ONE has a perfect system/work out...ya know why? Because they DONT EXIST ...even with best statistics program out there youre only going to win

Lottery machines and balls
What can you do? Either keep playing or don't. The whole thing stinks. It really doesn't matter if they rotate the balls and machines 47 times and hour, for 10 hours before the draw. The moment they do it once, without telling the player the new positions, it's pretty much hard to predict. The history of the tubes is lost. Perhaps, that overdue number you were waiting 2 months for came out in the pretest, and you never even knew it cause they didn't tell you. Pathetic. People are so wor

Texas Lottery confirms that Quick Picks are not generated by "central computer"
The lottery machines are most certainly programmable. If they weren't .... well, then they would not exist, because as I mentioned in the other thread, they are computers themselves. See, the problem I have with this scenario is that your supposition is exactly why the Texas Lottery runs reports on the distribution of numbers generated as Quick Picks. On one hand you're saying that the existence of such reports are bad, but on the other hand you're saying that you're concerned about the RN

POLL 2 of 3: Switching to computerized drawings
The problem with switching from ball to computer drawings is that lotteries with fixed payouts and can lose money on some outcomes. And as we saw in Tennessee, computers can be programmed so only certain combinations will come out. When people go to race tracks they can see how much money is being bet on each horse or dog. Some lotteries publish how much was wagered and paid off on the games, but we'll never know how much was wagered on each losing combination. Race track profits don't depen

Hoosier Lottery
I think Jimmy and Floyd are the voices of reason here in this thread and I thank both of them for their rational contributions. I agree that a string of long roll overs in and of itself does not mean a lotto game is rigged. The point that I am trying to make is when you consider everything...a string of long roll overs...non-televised, RNG drawings...a proven history of lottery corruption...(which I have detailed ad nauseum)...a rigged scratch off game (the Foreman scandal)...a game in which

I have seen store clerks saving scratch-off tickets for people.
The only thing that makes me wonder is that I heard several employees at my local Publix market won a lot on scratch tickets. I rarely buy scratchers, mainly Lotto. However, one day when I said I never win anything, the clerk started telling me about this clerk and that clerk who won with the instant games. I only know of one cashier there who hit $10,000. While I doubt the cashier had any inside information, allowing employees to play scratch-offs where they work is just bad for busin

Fixed Lotteries
Back in the old days of Vegas there were times when a Keno room went an entire shift without a number even being in the bowl - wasn't even intentional. That only affected the players using that number and actually gave the players using the other numbers a slightly better percentage. With the bowl in full view of the patrons, it would be next to impossible to take out a ball or balls if drawn that would result in the highest payoffs. But what if a state lottery looked at its L

Mega Millions Not Rigged? Please
dvdiva....it is your choice as to what you want to believe. I have previously stated on this forum that is it all about the payout for the 2nd and 3rd prizes....that is what determines what numbers get drawn. If a bettor is smart enough and spends enough on SEVERAL drawings in a row he can corner a group of numbers......in the end mega millions or any similar game has a choice....select a grand prize winner OR if they are shameless 'weird combinations will appear to keep the jackpot rolling.
