Bubkiss! So, here were my numbers to roll with:

What went wrong? The bolded numbers indicate numbers I excluded for varying reasons. I've been trying to cut down from 22 numbers to increase my chances, but it hasn't been going well. Coincidentally, this is the second time I had two POWER numbers to choose f

Should PB MM be tax-free/lump sum
As to the first part of the question...Yes lottery winnings should be tax free...as they are almost everywhere else in the world.
As to the second part...Yes Powerball and Megamillions should do away with the deceptive practice of advertising the annuity as the jackpot prize and the ridiculous notion of a cash value. No other business in the U.S. would be able to operate this way.
Let's face it...U.S. lotteries do this because they believe...with some justification...that larger jackp

would you play more if your state offered 25 cent bets?
I see it as a win win situation for the players and the game itself. There would be alot
more plays being made but filling out playslips should be a rule if you exceede a certain
amout of picks. Another perk I enjoy is when Illinois decides to throw us a bone and run
their double draw for a month. After the initial drawing there is a drawing with green and
white balls and if a green ball shows then they do a 2nd pick 3 drawing for the same tickets
you purchased for the 1st. Th

N.C. Lottery chief gets raise, standing ovation
North Carolina Lottery director Tom Shaheen didn't just get a raise last week that keeps him at the top of the pay heap among non-university state employees. He got a sustained, standing ovation from his bosses, the nine-member lottery commission.
Shaheen's salary will jump to $246,750 annually as of June 1, a 5 percent increase. He's also getting a one-time payment of $5,781 to make up for several months he had gone without a raise, commissioners said.
Among non-university employees (whic

Why Quick Picks win...Hint: It's *NOT* what you think, folks!
Perhaps I should have called the thread WHY SELF PICKS DO NOT WIN instead of a positive based assumption regarding QPs. But in theory, as KY Floyd points out, or seems to, each combo has an equal theoretical chance of winning. Most of gambling geeks who read that a majority of winning combos are 2/3 odd even or vice versa pick from those sets, while QPs will choose at random between ALL possible combo sets, whih in the end, gives them their subtle micro edge in real world terms, capish?

Todd's Deflate and Inspector Filters and Stats Tools.
That workout always gives 15 combinations, it appears to be a straight workout, but it is for boxed or any order numbers, just put all the pick 3 numbers as: LowestMiddleHighest (LMH).
The last draw of a game can be used, or even many past draws, but that would increase the combinations produced by the workout, What uses will it have? I don't know. Not yet anyway.

This is totally Variable, it depends on the last draw used only.

At what jackpot amount would you consider "sharing" the wealth?
I agree...It's probably best to simply come down to Earth after a win, learn to invest the windfall properly as risk-free as possible for a good return to both preserve the capital, and hopefully make it increase appreciably before deciding to give any dividends away for truly worthy causes.
Efforts at bettering yourself, your immediate family, and parents, all on a controlled level, is probably a good idea only if the recipients are truly noble and worthy to receive it. If your kids o

AMAZING: Minnesota man wins back-to-back lottery jackpots
I'll give the explanation a try.
The odds don't increase equally with each extra ball in the lottery. Every extra ball adds more odds than the previous ball. Odds of winning a 5/31 jackpot are precisely 1 in 169,911. Odds in a 5/32 jackpot are 1 in 201,376. A difference of 31,465. But the odds of winning a 5/33 jackpot are 1 in 237,336, a difference of 35,960 above the 5/32 game.
The formula for figuring out odds is a bit complex, but it can be boiled down to this:

Match 6 $4,950,000 CASH!
Hi GameGirl!, good to hear from you!
When the Pied Piper played his pipe, many entered the river to their demise. That is a statistic, and a fat one. But they knew not where they were being led.
I'm just commenting/evaluating how players are being MISled. The fact is that Botched 6's jackpot grows much slower than the previous 6/69 game and other 6/49 games. The second fact is that they did increase the cost by one whole dollar. I find these disturbing.
So I'd like to know how yo
