members that are missed or you haven't seen post in a while
I won't mention the name but one person sounded a bit harsh, even their name. I also haven't seen Chewie who only trusts himself and that's a questionable choice with the mustache around the signature. I am wondering also, what if anyone on here wins big, would you see them post again? A lot on here are big about being anonymous after a big win.

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
There wasn't as much potential harm in giving out the winner's information and taking their picture holding a huge check when lotto jackpots were $1 million. Most payouts were $50,000 before taxes for the next 20 years so how much a person could give away was limited. With jackpots of $50 to $100 million, winners should get the right to be anonymous up to a point. If a lottery wants to get a group of players complaining and saying the lottery is rigged, all they have to do is say the winni

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
. But the son is so happy- he just cannot keep his mouth shut and pretend it was nothing. I think that's the hardest part about winning the jackpot, your brain says it is for your best interest to remain anonymous, but the heart is jumping up and down and wants to shout the news to the whole world.

Britain's biggest lottery winner says jackpot ruined her life
Konane, I agree. As long as people can't remain anonymous, they need to protect their privacy. We also don't know if she posed for all the photos. I have personal a story about the press and how they manipulate stories with photos, but it's too long. (unless someone is really dying to hear it) They often choose the picture that fits their story, whether or not it portrays the person honestly accurately.

Book: Money For Nothing
I don't really need to buy the book, because I will remain anonymous if I ever win the jackpot anyway. But this sounds like a great forewarning for people who do intend to go public after a jackpot win.

Delaware Lottery publishes winner pictures -- sort of
The Delaware Lottery takes pride in their privacy policy, only publishing winner names with their consent. To make the point, while still showing a real winner behind the story, the lottery takes the winners' pictures, but has each winner hold up a mask over their face. With a busy month of August, including sixteen people winning prizes of $10,000 or more, the Delaware Lottery has a lot of anonymous pictures to take. The result is a collage that could make even the stodgiest of us chuckle

TODAY'S POLL: Scenarios of remaining anonymous
I picked choice A. I don't trust lawyers. But then, I'm not that concerned with staying anonymous anymore, either. I know how to tell people No.

TODAY'S POLL: Scenarios of remaining anonymous
i voted choice A because if im in an anonymous state it wont matter if i show up or not because they wont print my name and they wont take any pictures of me. if the press is there then the lottery workers can sneak me out the back.

Oklahoma couple claims $106M Powerball lottery jackpot
They should have remained anonymous using a blind trust, like the first Oklahoma Powerball jackpot winner from last year and the winner of the $400,000 Power Play in Oklahoma from a while back. They should have done their research and homework. They will regret going public soon enough....
