Personal Numbers
Both of these numbers very close to what one would expect. The number of combinations possible for 5 numbers in a field of 55 numbers is 3,478,761. The number of possible combinations of 5 possible numbers in a field of 31 is 169,911. Thus the subset of combinations covered by the 31 field is 4.9%, close to what is found. The number of possible combinations covered by a field of 39 numbers is 575,757. Thus the percentage of this field's combinations covered is 29.5%, close to the

Digits missing a few days? Sooo what?
Never look at world records ..... That's Lottery Porn and doesn't represent real life. LOL But seriously.... how many times has the coin landed on heads in Idaho back in 1932.... 15 times or 20 times? That's not real and we can't think about those gross examples to much. It will blow your groove man... LOL Now.... in the normal day to day world I start to play the other way after 5 or 6 days of the same. My focus is on the other side. At the end of the year.... most 50/50

The Number 8
This is from Glynis McCants - The Numbers Lady , numerologist, auhor, and radio personality: Hello, I recently did a show with George Noory on Coast to Coast am where we discussed the financial power behind the # 8. Here is my brief explanation on how it works. The number 8 encourages financial security. I have had many clients put an 8 in their wallet, and just leave it in there. Next thing you know, they get a check out of the blu

Can someone explain to me this scale?
i am a member of another site for motorcycles I probably know more about this particular brand of motorcycles than many of the other members on the board with a few exceptions. however my status as a poster is a newbie, because i just joined the group a few weeks ago. Now i didn't email the administrators and say to them i don't like your ranking system i am an advanced person i have knowledge beyond that of most posters. so you should change my status. But because i understand as many ot

Wisconsin factory workers win $208M Powerball lottery
Well, all you get is a LARGER annual payment that is part principle and part interest. You are correct that there are many options. You could give some investment company cash in exchange for an annuity stream - and you can set up an annuity stream in many ways. You could, for example set up a stream of interest only and still have the full cash amount back in X years. The company would determine their real interest earnings, keep their share, and pay you the difference. But here we are

Wisconsin factory workers win $208M Powerball lottery
Of course these folks can retire. If they take the GUARANTEED ANNUITY, they will get a guaranteed income stream that will keep up with inflation and is likely to be slightly better than they are currently making. These second shift workers reportedly have incomes of $30,000 to $40,000. The guaranteed annuity will pay slightly more than that and will likely keep up with inflation. People are not happy with these little wins anymore, but think about it. You go to work every day and brin

Powerball: Is even harder....
I just thought about something...This is how i think this work....If you notice, every lottery retailer gas station that sells lottery tickets have a RnG if i am not mistaken called quick pick...The computer selects combinations from 1 to 150 something million randomly, but it doesn't select the same combination twice, unless it has gone through all the 150 something million total combinations that Powerball has...Now if i am reading all this correct is not like having 1 store with the computer

Why Western States Win So Often
Although this is a little different, I once posted that Miami has the majority of winners in FL. Coincidentally, when I just got on this morning, I started to list all the recent drawings where a Miami resident had won. In fact, on Jul 4 the Fantasy 5 game had 3 winners and all 3 tickets were purchased in Miami. The June 23 MegaMoney (which was the last time anyone won) was won in..you guessed it..Miami! It's almost a joke with myself - when I look up the press release I make a bet, because my

Odds 101
Whether you walk out of the store with 10 or even 1000 different pick-4 straight combinations, there are still 9999 outcomes that lose because only ONE straight combination is drawn. If I had tickets for 10% of the possible outcomes how could 99.99% of those outcomes result in losing? If I walk out of the store with 1000 tickets that all have different numbers on them there are 1000 combinations that result in one of my tickets winning. That means there are 9000 combinations where I lose
