POLL: 'Moral' obligation for a jackpot winner
Coin Toss
Not that same thing for the Ford workers, although they are well paid, they need the job. Nobody puts years on an assembly line for fun.
The jackpot winner no longer needs the job.
Why I say it is the same thing...it is a matter of perception. $50,000 would last me a minimum of 3 years. So by my standards, I say they don't need the job. Let me have the job for 3 years. They have their $50,000 too bad if they didn't save it. Just like some lottery winners that also

do the lotteries have people researching systems and methods?
Coin Toss, very good question...I trully believe they have people researching systems, spying and on the look out for systems that work...I also believe that they have already paid people with systems that work, some ton of money for them to silence or retire or never use the system again...The lottery is a bussiness, they can't afford to have people out there running with systems that could potentially win their lottery...Despite that they will make their money anyways, but if the same person

Men threaten discrimination suit against N.M. Lottery
Whether or not somebody can afford to retire has absolutely nothing to do with it. If you're a bilionaire and your employer discriminates against you then you have a valid claim. If you earn mimimimum wage and don't have a dime of savings and your employer doesn't discriminate you, then that's just too bad, and your only recourse is to take responsibility for yourself and improve your own life.
The story clearly says that all of the sales reps were asked to hang signs and all refused because

Why can teenagers play the lotto?
I've always felt that life was not long enough..YOu really start appreciating life after i say you 10 years old and you only live to be 80 years old..That gives you 70 years to enjoy....
Well the same way i always felt about a job... I always felt that the job was like a prison that gets a hold of you until you are 62 years old, age to retire and if you didn't save for retirement because you couldn't it can get really difficult...The idea that you work 8 hours everyday and that the major

A very timely win for sure
This is an interesting story -
1- If anyone needs a little luck it would be the Ford assembly plant workers.
2- the tickets have only been on the street for 3 days.
ATLANTA Retirement day is even more memorable for a Ford assembly plant worker set to retire today. Jerome McInnis played the new Georgia Lottery instant game Bah Humbucks and became the first to win one of the game's $225,000 top prizes.
McInnis is a 13-year employee of the Ford assembly plant in Hapeville that

Kansas Powerball lottery winner claims jackpot anonymously
I can handle money very well because we never had it when I was growing up, it was just me and mom.
She worked minimum wage jobs, I worked in Jr. High, High School and College.
Momma preached to me from day one 'stay out of debt', and except for student loans, I have. I live every day as if I was
making $18,000 a year, and I made about 3x-4x that amount, but I still lived as cheap as I could, no telling when your job might disappear. I parlayed $60,000 in the stock market to almost a

Wisconsin factory workers win $208M Powerball lottery
Of course these folks can retire. If they take the GUARANTEED ANNUITY, they will get a guaranteed income stream that will keep up with inflation and is likely to be slightly better than they are currently making. These second shift workers reportedly have incomes of $30,000 to $40,000. The guaranteed annuity will pay slightly more than that and will likely keep up with inflation.
People are not happy with these little wins anymore, but think about it. You go to work every day and brin

a sorta stupid question for the math type

I still don't understand what information your 5X56 chart with 68211 in every position is trying to show. What law of physic did you use to define the perfect world you described? I would think in any world perfect or not, if five balls were randomly drawn out a pool of 56, the results would be just as unpredictable each time. In the last 56 MegaMillions drawings 74% of the numbers were from a pool of 33 which might suggest a bias
