Texas Computerized Drawings
Molly did a good job, didn't she . . .The Texas Lottery Commission doesn't care about the players, that much is obvious. What can be done about it? Nothing, really. We have to remember that the TLC was founded to make a profit. The players are just the suckers in a game of chance. The best way to protest is to stage a boycott of all Texas games until they shape up. That might get their attention.I think that is already happening with Texas Lotto. It grows about one million every time no one

Had enough of MA Megabucks
I've had a MA Megabucks season ticket for 9 years. Until this year. My father had one for years. When they moved out of state in 1996, I offered to pay half of the season ticket with his numbers, since the lottery won't mail them out of state and split the prize. So it kept going year after year, and every time I had to renew it I would want to drop it for the usual reasons - annuity only, miserable smaller prizes, haven't won a thing for years, MegaMillions is more fun to play and dream about.

PA 'Unlucky for Life'
This was taken from the PA lottery website apparently this game was brought about by the people of PA who requested a game like this. So if your feeling let down because of this game you should be blaming the people who requested it. If it's development took almost 2 years. How come you Pennsylvanians didn't step up to the plate and protest it's prize structure. Granted 36 grand after taxes isn't a huge amount but it will go a long way towards funding some young peoples retirement and help the w

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
prob987,You don't get a receipt in any county, but I thought you were talking about computerized voting, rather than getting a receipt. The issue is whether the voting machine records your vote on a piece of paper (which can be audited), or if it merely exists as bytes in a computer database, with no physical record.I don't really understand the receipt thing that you're talking about, because even if you punched holes out of a card, or pulled a lever (which we used to do in NJ), you still woul

Lottery petition attacks computerized drawings
Quote: Originally posted by psykomo on August 29, 2004Why not ask everyone to go on a $$Dollar Diet$$? If.... players elect to get lean maby some of the states will get the message. Players can put money aside for the games at some later date if the states, agree with players. Courts will take years and money to get anywhere near a solution. Otherwise, the states and lottery management have the right to present and change the games as they see fit. REMEMBER, it's YOH honey, Do whah you WANNA
