Powerball heats up with $317 million jackpot
even if you had the cash, trying to buy all 175,223,510 possible combinations would be a nightmare. You would have to go to a lottery retailer and have them print you out all those tickets. The machine or machines would have to print out tickets non-stop for days. You'd also have to make sure you are getting different number combinations and not getting any repeat combinations so you'd have all possible combinations covered. After all that, there is no guarantee you would be the only winner.

Annoyed while waiting in the lottery line - Venting
It's always better to go to someplace where the clerks also play lotto. The people that really get me are the ones who stick some cash in a scratcher machine, get one ticket at a time, and scratch the tickets one the machine. It's as if they think having put money in the machine the 'own it'. I told one guy that the machine is for everybody, the idea is to get your tickets and move, not to bogart the machine. He actually asked me what I meant.

Race and the lottery
All l am going to say is this: Just as the winning lottery ticket could be either a self pick or a Quick Pick- the vending machine or convenience store clerk does not look at the person handing over their play slip and press a button that says If player is White- press *1-.... If Black, Asian, Hispanic or other- press *2.. BEFORE sending the play slip through the machine. That's my final answer and l am standing by it....

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Tickets are terrible here. I have just about given up. A lot of the regulars around here have either quit or play very little anymore. The UPS guy (who used to buy $1K+ a week) now plays maybe $100 a week. Saw him today and he told me he just walks right past the machine when he makes his rounds at Publix. His wife is pregnant and I imagine he is quite a bit in debt too. Also never see this woman buying anymore. She was a maid at some high end hotel and you could count on seeing her everytime yo

Post your scratch ticket results
I love Subway they always have good deals. Good $500 win too. I played today a little bit and had some luck. Doesn't make up for the Tuesday beating but it was nice. 2 $5 Crossword (#37, 38) #38 won $5 2 $5 Get Lucky (#17, 18) #17 won $10, #18 won $50 2 $5 Nutcracker Cash Doubler (#46, 47)- both lost Was very surprised to see consecutive wins on Get Lucky and pretty good ones too. Earlier today I bought a $1 ticket that won $1 and also $2 Bonus Match 5 so hopefully that hit

Audit: Stores buying Michigan lottery tickets from players
This is what makes no sense. If you win anything over $500 it has to be claimed at the Lottery Office and taxes are taken out before hand, anything under that can be cashed by the retailer and that is not taxable, therefore that $509,211 had to be lottery winnings that were not taxable to begin with, prizes under $500, therefore the government would be illegally trying to get tax money that they were not entitled to in the first place. If I won a $100,000 in prizes from scratch-off tickets,

I'm playing 428 for the rest of the week! (MI). Machine took a pause on printing my tickets (#910), so I asked the clerk 910 wouldn't happen to be your birthday? , she replied no, her birthday was 428, so I played it and gave her one ticket. I remembered, Luckyshoes, ALL 428! Thank you!

S.C. Lottery to honor 2 sets of Pick 3 numbers
Okay..so the 364 was certified but the 367 drawn? Maybe someone from SC can step up and explain that? Were 2 numbers drawn? What type of night drawings do you have? So you have to send the ticket in then be taxed on the winnings for a certification error when 367, not 364, was actually drawn from the machine? Thanks.

2014 Wins
I do not keep track of how much I spend but I know one thing for certain and that is I am spending less in 2014 on lotto. I do not think that mom and I have been to the casino this year once but we have been to Yan's to play video lottery machines. So far we have won about $300 for myself and I think mom has won about $200 off machines at Yan's this year. We bought about $200 worth of scratch-its mostly $1 and $2 tickets and some $5 tickets as well but only won back about $120 of that $200 spent

Take5 NY
My pleasure Mama! As for me, I never rely on a clerk, no matter which of the five boroughs they work in. Most players don't use a bet slip because they like the convenience of buying QP's, so they don't even need one. In defense of clerks, they probably never look at a bet slip, they just run it through the machine. And they don't do that very much either, because 75% of all tickets sold are QP's. If there's another way you could take advantage of the promotion, I don't know what it would
