Honest: Idaho Lottery retailers pass 4-month security audit
Using undercover operatives and decoy high-tier winning tickets, the Idaho Lottery has concluded a four month investigation to protect the security and integrity of all its games. During the investigation, the Lottery evaluated cashing procedures of the decoy winning tickets at 128 of its 1150 retailers in 61 cities and towns across Idaho. The net result of the investigation showed that 100% of all Idaho Lottery retailers checked had met all of the security and integrity criteria.

Woman arrested for trying to fake jackpot winning lottery ticket
Note to anyone thinking of gaming the state lottery: it never works.
An Elgin, Illinois, woman tried to cash in on the record $656 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot with a ticket she bought online eight minutes after the winning numbers were drawn, officials said today.
Leandria Williams, 28, was initially charged with wire fraud last week for falsifying documents. She has now been charged with attempted theft and forgery, according to the Cook County sheriff's office.

How do you play your numbers?
i always play personal picks...most important to track is 0day skip and 1day skip...
next in importance is adjacent numbers..they are not really personal numbers, i play what the chart tells me to play...
but 19 is my BD, and that does come out a lot in my states game...and is hot in Mega Millions...so i would play it if i remember to play...
i dont bother to buy quick picks, as a two number match in Take five is automatically a quick pick...and more times than not for me they suck and

NY lottery winner charged with welfare fraud
It's obvious there is no point in explaining to you why people get EBT benefits and who is paying for those benefits.
Nobody tells you how to spend your money when you are grocery shopping.
Because I give the clerk cash or my debit/credit card using the money I EARNED. I even bought a cell phone and pay for using it from my EARNINGS unlike the free cell phones and free minutes our taxes are paying for.
Somebody had to help your ass at one time.
That somebody certainly wasn't the

If you knew the numbers before the drawing?
Scientistman re original post:
I didn't have trouble reading it, but i have a lot of practice reading medical jargon that runs for pararaphs on end. This is a forum that takes some getting used to, most people on the forum WILL be more knowledgeable about the lottery than a new member and people are SERIOUS here about accusations of fraud/deceit in the system. Its best to follow general internet rules that people have mentioned. Use white spaces, paragraphs to break up the text. Also make sur

Idaho's biggest lottery winner knew he would win
Lol, SSAN? That kind of prooves my point. I just find it much more likely to chalk it up to there being a Connecticut town with almost the exact same zip but off by 1 neighboring digit that its a typo or that people sometimes have sucky handwriting then I am to believing that there was some sort of secret conspiracy to get a 15 year old kid a dodgy social security card so he could work at Baskin Robins.
And I don't have a clue who paid for college for him, nor do I particularly care. I just k

Lawyer gives up $14 million Iowa lottery ticket claim
*golfclap.gif* Thank you so much. How many people here spoke ill of the Iowa Lotto and called the investigator a showboat, a busybody and worse?
From the Huffington Post version of this story:
... Shaw signed it on behalf of Hexham Investments Trust (misspelling Hexham as Hexam), which listed its address as a post office box in Bedford, N.Y., a wealthy enclave where Shaw lives on the property of his daughter and son-in-law Gregory Fleming, the president of Morgan Stanley Investm

NY lawyer in lottery mystery travels to Iowa this week
I imagine the winners are one of the following:
1. Muslim - don't want people to know played the lottery and won; nor want scrutiny of where some of those millions will go (can you say Hesbolah? Al Qaida?).
2. Released Convict, likely a sex offender - again don't want any media scrutiny.
3. Indian former convenience store owner found guilty of lottery fraud - need I say more, Mr. Patel?!
4. Former clerk at store where ticket was purchased - don't want scrutiny as to how possess ticke
