The Lottery Machine Ate My Ten
I've had troubles with the vending machines, too. I sometimes buy a lottery ticket or scratchers from a machine in a grocery store when I'm there; it was located right by the bathrooms near the exit. One time I had put in $20 bucks and got my lottery tickets, intending to spend the rest on scratch tickets. I chose one and let it dispense, then was checking the display to see the balance and I heard a whirring and watched the amount decrease...and again and again. I looked down to see a kid about

The Lottery Machine Ate My Ten
Edge errors usually are caused by the ticket top or bottom edges being misaligned in the machine.
I would go back to Publix and speak with the store manager even though some time has passed. Also, contact the lottery (email or phone) and tell them the location of the machine and what happened.
These machines store error codes with the time and date they occurred...

Cash 4Life
So the bonus this month is 'Buy any draw game and you MAY receive a FREE C4L ticket'
Well I have NEVER gotten one. But when I got my numbers tonight at a gas station I normally don't go to - I was the only one in there. There are 2 clerks behind the counter. One hands me back my tickets and says to me 'hang on...' the other says to the first 'hey give me that coupon' then I hear the lotto machine give its winning jingle!! They hand me a free qp for C4L!!! The guy says, they have been having

Should winning scratch offs only be more than the ticket cost?
The lotteries know that they don't have to make the lowest prize more than the cost of the ticket.
Rare is the scratcher player that says, I broke even.
Players have the same mentality as people playing video poker, $1.25 in the machine in quarters 9or credits0, win five quarters (credits), and I won! I won!

NY Sweet Millions
In our pool at work, we have enough players (usually 20 or more people get in the pool) that when I buy the tickets, I mark each bet slip with a different PB (or MegaBall) number so that each and every one of them is covered. That way we always have the MegaBall or The PB, and are guaranteed to win a few bucks every time we play. As for the first 5 white balls, I simply mark the QP square on the bet slip. If we ever got lucky and had two or 3 white balls on the same line that we had the winning

The $500 winner was on the $10 777 ticket.
I got a $250 winner on the $5 bingo star the next day from the same machine
Going to try the new ones that are out today.

11 more retailers suspended by Florida Lottery
Not surprised. Last month, I had a female clerk at my favorite store jip me around $10 twice. My sight is pretty bad so I figured I miscounted. However, I felt something wrong. So the last time I went in to cash out, she tried it again. But this time I also had a friend verify and sure enough, she tried to short me $30 this time. Glad there was a line of folk behind me as I called her out. Of course she apologized over and over and promised she wasn't trying to jip me. Not sure how true she was

Wyoming Lottery to begin accepting retailer applications
The problem is that even if you properly vet a retailer, the lottery can't control who they hire later to work the counter. And any time you have human beings involved, there is always the possibility they will succumb to temptation.
Hopefully the lottery will from the start do the things they need to do to in order to minimize the possibility of having players ripped off by unscrupulous retailers, including:
Mandating the installation of self-check ticket scanners at every retailer. Mand

How Much Cash Would You Walk Away From
The setup is: You're running late for something important like picking up the kids or getting back to work from lunch break, yet decide to take a few seconds to grab a scratch off ticket(s) on the way and wouldn't you just know it, the bill checker jams on your bill. The machine now says to request assistance from the store staff, which could take what will seem like forever. How much cash trapped in the machine would you be willing to walk away from?
