Arkansas lottery to sell Mega Millions tickets
Hopefully California will replace Super Lotto Plus with Powerball. With an equal chances to win (=0) PB has much higher jackpots.

How do YOU play?
I know pickling numbers and working out numbers is fun, but consider...this is for Illinois Little Lotto, as of Oct 31st this year, date of the last jackpot. The totals include shared jackpots. To date 2009 129 Jackpots 109 QP 84.496% 70 PS 54.263% Most jackpots have been a solo hit for $175,000, which is usually a QP. Shared jackpots tend to be more player's numbers and often lower numbers. Sometimes I play a QP and then another ticket going up and down to the numbe

A Lotto that pays Child Expenses for 18 years or baby expenses for 6 years
It just occurred to me that Pumpi doesn't understand it's the players that fund the jackpots and not the state lotteries. When we buy a ticket we already know that about 35 cents on the dollar will go into the states general fund or in some states it goes into a designated fund. I'm not sure that he fully understands that jackpots are taxed by some states and of course the Federal Government either. Basically Pumpi is suggesting we the players should pay everyone's child support so the dead b

Is PB & MM truly random...
Even if lotteries aren't totally random, the odds of winning their jackpots make it seem like they are.

If Your State Had Both Powerball and Mega Millions
about the same for major jackpots, but a tiny bit more for the small jackpots if i had both i always like to play 1 dollar bets, even at fresh pb jackpots, sense you got to play to win it, i dont buy more then 1 ticket to atfer about 100m, then about 2, then about 3 tickets to 5 tickets per 250+ or 100m cash atfer taxes taken out, so at worst, i just be losing 4 bucks a week then my normal 2 bucks for pb, :D no biggie , its a price of like a highend cup of co

If Your State Had Both Powerball and Mega Millions
I wouldn't be contributing to the build-up of the smaller jackpots any longer because I would only play the one with large jackpot. I would probably wait until their cash value was $50M or more before playing either. If other players did like wise they might need larger starting jackpots to attract players after a jackpot is won, but that shouldn't be a problem with more states contributing to the pot.

America's multi-state lottery titans agree to ticket-selling partnership
Of course, the odds stay exactly the same. Just faster climbing jackpots and more jackpot winners.

Texas Lottery players can now look forward to Powerball
A player enters the Store. He or she usually plays $10 on the Mega. Do they say Give me $5 Mega and $5 Powerball OR do they say Which jackpot is higher? Give me $10 all on that one! ? If too many States take both games, whichever game has a lower jackpot is going to stagnate as the other one shoots way up! The games should merge, and the matrix should be similar as it is now, not adding more balls, because there would be still $100M+ jackpots and they'd happen more often! Instead of adding more
