Was I discriminated against for playing lotto?
here's the big problem with the whole thing people get lottery machines to increase their business, not the lottery's business. They know they will have days when they either cant manage the lottery terminal or have to place an unfamiliar person on the terminal.
the lottery has no interest in the machines they do not place people behind them. So in essence they are getting a terminal operator for free.
people have some misconception that places that sell lottery tickets are making money off o

great results for pick 5
I have spent countless hours using lotto pro 2006 to increase my chances. I did my first test play last night for Texas pick 5 and I played 28 numbers in 221 tickets.
Hit 37 2 number combos 37X $2 per 2combo = $74
2 3 number combos 3 X $10 per 3 combo=$20
1 4 number combo 1 X $423 per combo=$423
Total spent $221 Total won $517 Total profit $296
It was played on paper I was surely not about to risk $221 for something so early. With just alittle

Online Lottery Purchases

That issue has been covered many, many times here. I think you are focusing on the wrong risk. Lottery jackpots are very publicly paid out over a somewhat lengthy process, and there is plenty of time to legally intervene in the case that someone tried to take your ticket and run off

The Profitable Double System
I think this topic was discussed earlier.
Take a state, which has a good Double hit ratio. See a double no drawn is 229
Then play 40 numbers boxed as (or 36 numbers removing the duplicates, I would suggest to play all as it is a chance to get a Jackpot).

900,911,922,933,944,955,966,977,988,999
You can play this for 7 days, if no hit in 7 days, incre

Lottery Giant Targets European Market
Scientific Games, a dominant player in the US instant lottery ticket market, is jockeying for a larger stake in Europe after buying a British maker of betting terminals last month.
The traditional lotto market has matured in Europe, the chief executive of Scientific Games, Lorne Weill, said.
Growth needed to come from other product areas, such as instant scratch tickets and video lottery terminals.
Instant lottery tickets are a high-growth market. In Italy, annual sales of instant

The Solution t This Gas Extortion
Quote: Originally posted by Shane3 on May 2, 2006Almost everyone is saying that there is no solution to the high gas prices at the pump. The politicians say we should throw up our hands and surrender to the current gas extortion. They say do more car-pooling, buy a smaller car and cut back on other expenses. They say be happy because Europe is paying $6.00/gallon. We all need to buy gas for our autos..that is understood, and I am not suggesting we all give up driving.
But I say "Give-me-a-br

Why an Annuity?
Quote: Originally posted by SirMetro on May 1, 2006 I preface this comment with this is merely my concept of the reason and I could be wrong .
First, I think the biggest reason the States offer an Annuity is to allow the State an oppurtunity to retain as much cash reserve as possible. One of the primary laws in Lottery and Gambling is that the entity offering the Game must have a reserve equal to an amount preset by the initial Constitution of that Game to insure that in the case of a large

What would the experts do with a lottery jackpot?

If you continued to get by on less than 100k when you could easily afford to spend 2,3 or 5 times that much, I'd be very impressed and I'd wonder why you bother throwing your money away on lottery tickets.
I, too, believe I could get by on an average of $50,000 adjusted for inflation for my personal expenses if I were able to remain where I am. That's far more than I'm living on now and I live in a very nice waterfront home. However, I recognize that a big win itself
