What's with NY Sweet Million??
Thank you so much!! I'll tell her that GiveFive sent her congrats! I forgot to post that Mom purchased the $5.00 quick pick and her 5 matching numbers were on the freebie. We had a lot of fun today cashing in her ticket, the guy at the racino who cashed it for her said, That was a good hit. and I said, yes, she was almost a millionaire, missed by one number! She didn't cash it in at the small store where she purchased the ticket, she didn't want to inconvenience the two young girls who work ther

Vt. Lottery computer glitch creates extra winners
Well I am one of them that is willing to see where the urban myth of LOCAL TERMINAL RNG's is documented and in print. Can you explain why ALL the supposed ISOLATED LOCAL RNG's produced the same Quick Picks SYSTEM WIDE? What don't you understand about the words SYSTEM WIDE? Reread the article.
Talk about cluelessness. What kind of cliche' of stupid is that? What does a knowledge of math have to do with how man-made randomness works or applies to buying a Quick-Pick? What don't you get and wher

Statistically Speaking - QP's and PP's
When it comes to the small games, Pick 3/4, the single most important thing is repeatability. No money can be made without a system producing frequent hits. This topic can be discussed infinitely but, when it all comes down to the nitty gritty, consistency must be present if any real money is to made. With the JP games, one good hit is all that's needed because so much money is won that there's no need for a system and repeatability. Luck is definitely desired here.
If you take two people, a

No one might have said it but I thought the point this thread to settle the question about whether combinations picked using a strategy would do better than combinations picked randomly with no strategy.
The point was made that websites figures on self picks and quick picks were confusing because many self picks were combinations gotten from all kinds of places which didn't involve a strategy, some might have even been old QP numbers replayed.
The point was made that by picking one own nu

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Yep, finally a Sweet Million winner from Nassau County, great news for the lucky winner (s)! The $3 free promotion must have spiked up the sales and number of combinations to get a winner.
I bought the $5.00 Sweet Million quick pick for the $3 free and reduced my purchases of MM, PB, and Lotto for tonight and Sat. to make up for spending more money on SM.
I had a terrible experience trying to purchase the Sweet Millon promo on Wednesday, I didn't realize the promo is only good for SM purch
