NASCAR fan wins $75.6M lottery jackpot
This strange phenomenon always makes me wonder why double-digit, multi-million NETTING jackpot winners buy more tickets. Is it addicted habit or greed? As far as I know, NOBODY has won a double-digit, multi-million netting jackpot MORE than once in their lifetime! Perhaps these folks merely buy the additional ticket to hold up for publicity purposes; because they think that it would be some sort of insult during the lottery headquarters forced publicity interview to publicly say that it is bo

N.C. lottery store owners, employees winning big and often
Some of the same people who sell North Carolina Education Lottery tickets are winning big and winning often and that makes some people suspicious. Of the lottery retailers winning prizes, some are amassing significant jackpots repeatedly $100,000, $300,000, and $500,000 prizes dozens of times a year. Is it just dumb luck? Or do these insiders have some kind of inside track? And what is the state doing about it? A regular lottery player first brought the pattern of retailers winning the

How are jackpots split if 10 people won at a workplace?
Just wondering. Do all 10 claim it and pay individual taxes? Is it already divided evenly to the 10 people? What does the lottery do to make it a fair split amongst the workplace workers? This is regarding Mega Millions

Insight to Jackpot lottery pools
Yes, we use a system to pick the numbers. BUT, the system we use is not a prediction system. The draws are random and therefore the results cannot be predicted. The system used does not try to guarantee small wins. Since we buy a lot of tickets for large jackpots (and only large jackpots), we could cover every Mega Ball. We do not do that because we are not interested in winning a couple of dollars. Our goal is to win the jackpot.

1-2-3-4-5 came close to hitting in Ohio Cash5
Since Ohio games have fixed payout amounts for every prize except the jackpots and they don't release the total payout amounts, there's no way of telling.

Colorado Lottery investigates 21-time prize winner
I think some of the readers are comparing Colorado Cash5 with other states Cash5 game which are a lot harder and have larger jackpots. For example, Colorado Cash5 is a 5/32 game with odds of 1:201,376 of winning a jackpot of $20K while a game like Rolling Cash5 in Ohio is a 5/39 game with odds of 1:575,757 of winning a jackpot of $100K+. Just like playing other small payout games, spending lots of money on Colorado Cash5 might get you a lot of wins but not a lot of money. Buying all those ticket

Countdown to Powerball in Florida
Sadly, I'm guessing no. There are a lot more people who play the lottery then visit here and I think that the matrix change will lead to bigger jackpots which in turn, will lead to more people playing, which will give the powers to be more money to line their pockets. I wonder though. If Powerball really does start getting much bigger jackpots, how long will it be before Mega Millions decides to change their matrix?
