Could any of you help me?
This might shock a few people here.
1. How long have you been buying lottery tickets?
When the lottery came to Tx I bought a few tickets for the first 3 or so months, then I told myself that the lottery must be Fixed and I quit buying them.
Much latter back on 2002 or 2003 I once again became interested on the lottery, but this time on the pick 3 game.
I didn't become interested in buying tickets, but in trying to see if I could learn how to win.
On and off I have been tryin

Could any of you help me?
1. How long have you been buying lottery tickets?
Off and on since moving to Michigan 20 years ago, but the last few years have been more steady.
2. Where do you buy lottery tickets? Do you always buy them at the same place?
Convenience or grocery stores - varies whatever is convenient. Sometimes if I have time, I'll to to a smaller nearby town and buy at some Mom Pop place since they always seem to be the ones with the big winners.
3. How many lottery tickets do you buy? How often d

buying lottery tickets
I already posted, but I want to add something in response to some of the posts.
To avoid getting quick picks for the wrong game, just mark a card if that's an option in your state.
Regarding all the responses like what if my number comes up and I didn't buy it? or maybe it's an omen, if the odds are already so astronomical that only 1 combination in 23 million can win, and with games like PB and MM as much as 1 in 176 million, then what are the chances the one you don't buy will hit that

buying lottery tickets
Yes and no.
There is a clerk at the store where I usually buy my ticket that I guess relieves the regular clerks when they are on break or helps when there is a long line. Last week I handed her 10 play slips that should had 10 tickets but she handed me 11 tickets. I assumed she printed one of the tickets twice so instead of sorting through the tickets trying to figure out which one, I gave her the $11. She said I probably had marked the one of the tickets wrong, but I had used the same ticke

Is statistics method really useful to predict drawing number?
Some of you think too much.
A birthday is just a day, a date, that has a number assigned to it. OF COURSE one of these will hit once in awhile, the odds favor it. Nobody ever said 'birthdays don't win', but it's just as one said: you limit your numbers to 1-31, you are really limiting your chances. So you need to play your birthdays, and a few games not made up of birthdays.
Same for race car numbers, NBA Player numbers, NFL, NHL, and any other 'number' you want to assign something to.

Geographical location and jackports.
Today I thought I'd check to see where the Florida MegaMoney ticket for $900,000 was sold. I'm surprised I remembered this thread since I have such an inaccurate memory but just FYI (just a coincidence, I'm sure. LOL)
The Florida Lottery announced today that one player matched all four numbers plus the MEGABALL in the Friday, Feb. 22, MEGA MONEY drawing and will win a guaranteed $900,000 jackpot.
The winning MEGA MONEY numbers were:
05 - 08 - 16 - 29 and the MEGABALL was 06

A QP Ticket: 5 Picks + 2 SAME Number Sets
I have a $5 Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 ticket, all 5 Quick Picks as follows:
02 - 14 - 20 - 27 - 31
02 - 14 - 20 - 27 - 31
11 - 19 - 30 - 32 - 35
02 - 16 - 17 - 21 - 22
24 - 29 - 30 - 33 - 34
Notice the first 2 Quick Picks are identical...so much for complete randomness on each Quick Pick.

Claiming as a trust or partnership
Usually when people in Florida win a large Lotto jackpot, the names are listed along with their ages. Even when the jackpot is claimed as a trust they've historically listed the individual names of the people in the trust. So I found today's press release interesting. (in blue below) Of course it doesn't stop a curious reporter from showing up at your doorstep, but without using my full name and age, I would feel more comfortable. I also wonder if the city can be where the trust was created, not
