Euro Millions Lottery Sparks Buying Frenzy With $224 Million Top Prize
Quote: Originally posted by Chewie on February 3, 2006 You skeptics about PTS always ask if there is proof if they will pay off. For PTS, prove to me they have never paid off on a jackpot. If you're too gutless to shoot some one, don't own a gun. If you're afraid to gamble, stay away from PTS. The more of you who live in fear, the better my chanc

Editor's Note: The following opinion article is not necessarily the opinion of Lottery Post, but is presented to illustrate how the latest Texas Lottery gaffe has fueled the fires of long-time critics of the Texas Lottery Commission (TLC). The article is written by Ken Rodriguez of the San Antonio Express-News.Ken Rodriguez: How Texas lottery advertised make-believe payoff for suckersThe sleight-of-hand Texas Lottery Commission has done it again. $290 MILLION:" Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased
Quote: Originally posted by tg636 on July 02, 2004If you show me some good evidence that you could make the amount of the annuity by investing the lump sum, I would be a believer. Assuming taxes get 35% of the lump sum and 5% of what's left goes to spending and enjoying your money, then you start off down 40%. So you have to make that 40% back just be get back to where the state starts off investing the annuity. The state takes the same lump sum and invests it without having to pay the 35% tax

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
After reading the article a few more times very carefully here is what I get from the article: Everything in the article above the following section is yadda, yadda, yadda from the PB Lottery until some solid information (maybe subject to change?) comes along. US state lotteries and the UK National Lottery will pool funds only for the Powerball jackpot, not lower-tier prizes. Tickets purchased in the UK will contribute the same fixed US dollar amount per play to the jackpot pool as ticke

Cycles - Interesting Numbers
Right... where to begin. Hyperdimension posted a link to an article in another post here called how could the computer find patterns in a lottery? I'm not allowed to do links so go find it and have a look. I reply posted to him there but include a copy here for anyone's interest. Essentially what I read in the article that HD linked completely parallels to my methods and approach, I'm no mathematics pro so have a lot to learn about what they are developing and to draw from their

Hoosier Leadership and Basic Math...
Below is an article I found yesterday on IndyStar.com. In order to appreciate the gravity of the situation, I'll have to give you some background information on how this came about. Governor Mitch Daniels and our state legislature decided to lease our toll road to a foreign company for seventy-five years in return for a one-time payment of $3.85 billion dollars. Over 60% of the citizens of Indiana were opposed to this deal, but they went ahead and pushed it through anyway, in a late-night

Arizona Lottery delays expiration date of $12.8 million jackpot-winning ticket in legal battle
It belongs to the store. According to the article, the customer declined the printed ticket and Arizona lottery rules states, that when that happens the retailer gets to keep the ticket, provided he does not resell it. The Manager, fraudulently purchased the ticket because he knew it was a winner. Who in their right mind would purchase a day old lottery ticket?

Arizona Lottery delays expiration date of $12.8 million jackpot-winning ticket in legal battle
*The report said the owner of the ticket declined it, more like ( forgot ) it at the store. It's why Bank of America is now involved. * According to the article, the ticket was purchased using a debit card. Seems the purchase was legitimate and Circle K wants the money going to the original purchaser, just not Gawlitza.

Something is rotten in the state of Michigan
Based on the article it seems that the person who won, won in May 2025 and was waiting nearly a year to cash it in. I don't know what the time limit is on cashing in those winning tickets but having a winning ticket collecting dust for 1 year or being squished in your wallet for a long period of time will probably wear it down.... Additionally you are even more correct...this winning ticket makes EZ match look like even more of a scam!
