CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Picked up 4 55's; two from a retailer in Oakland; two from a machine in San Bruno: #46, #45 0 0 #34, #33 0 0 Not a good day! And that makes me 0 - 5, if you include the single ticket purchased over the weekend, to start my Fortune 55 experience.

if "someone" found a way to beat the lottery wheel-would you label that cheating?
Who says I use a ... ummm ... I mean maybe a machine wouldn't be necessary. Maybe it's just something I ... um ... people would do using only their bodies or minds. I'd go forward and get the Powerball numbers for the draw Christmas night, then come back and buy a few 5 + 0 tickets in several different states (so the pari mutuel doesn't kick in for any single state) with the megaplier and give those to a few friends for Christmas presents. And I'd buy the 5 + 1 ticket for myself in a state wh

Casino
I dreamed that I was at the Casino with my deceased Aunt (Faye). She gave me two $20 dollar bills, so I sat at the $1 machine and played and she sat at the other end. I lost my money and I said This machine ate up that money fast. So, I got up and stood by my Aunt (Faye) and watched her play. At the end she got Spin on the machine. I said Lord Jesus please give her thousands. I landed on $700.00 we got up and went to cash in her ticket. My Aunt said I needed that now I won my money back. The att

Does anyone use the lottery machines to check if you have winning tickets?
i quite often circle my numbers with a pen, when i have losing tickets i still take em to the store and check in the machine. sometimes if the place is quiet ill ask the clerk to check em too. Rememeber tho here in australia, we get to store our entries on a players card, or more likely recourd our names and contact details with lotteries. on their database, we just have a card for them to match our info with the ticket purchase. so if i do that i still check losers on the machine. back in t

Does anyone use the lottery machines to check if you have winning tickets?
Hi everyone, Just curious if people use the little lottery machines to see if you won on a ticket. I have used them for MM and PB rarely, but I did use the machine last week. What I'm usually afraid of is the fact that if it might say I didn't win but what if it just wasn't working right and I did win? I'm just wondering about people's experiences with using them. I usually always check my MM, PB and Mass Cash tickets on my states web sites.

Playing every ticket from a machine.
Anytime you come out ahead with scratch tickets is a good day! But what you did is what would be called standard play which is just buying a few tickets each of the few games you like to play. It is similar to what I do and others as well most of the time, but it is not taking the vending machine challenge. The challenge involves some significant risk, buying 1 and only 1 ticket from every bin of a machine, forcing you to play even games you don't like and would never play. It makes no sen

Finally!
Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've been on here, mainly because where I'm located scratchoffs are not kind. I've been bitching about VA tickets ever since I got back in this state. Well last night my luck took a little for the better as I was able to score $500 on a $5 ticket. Then today hit for another $100 on a $20. Both came out the same vending machine at Scotchman's. I was definitely chasing the $500 last night as I had bought 6 straight duds and only had a $50 bill left, so I ask

Clerks Are Not Always Knowledgable About Lottery
A couple of years back, while buying my weekly Missouri Lotto tickets, the girl behind the counter ran one of my multiple playslips twice... Apparently, she did not know how to void out the extra ticket, and said she would just buy it herself. I attempted to explain to her why that was NOT acceptable ... that if she buys the duplicate ticket, and it happens to win, then I have share the jackpot with her ... because she made a mistake. That's a problem! I even further said that I have absolute

Cheating Clerk?
When you cash a winning ticket here in Maryland the machine kicks out two receipts. One retailer copy, one customer copy. Ask for your copy. I would report him. If he's cheating cutomers on the scratch offs, no doubt he's doing it on other games too. If it was an honest mistake on his part he would have apologized. Which he didn't.

Scanned Lottery Ticket.
I know the machine sounds off with winning tickets, but I wish the machines would sound off with the losing tickets as well...a message like.. Sorry, This Ticket NOT a winner when being scanned... Come to think of it... How do we really know they are even scanning the tickets? Take for instance last night....I found a handfull of Powerball lottery tickets purchased over the past couple of months that I knew were not jackpot winners...I took them in the store and the first two sounded off as winn
