Can you "claim prize in trust" anywhere?
In TN I don't know what the rules are... But usually if you have your picture made they will put you on the website and explain a little about your winfall. However, if you don't take a picture of course no one knows you've won. Also, in TN I don't think people really care about staying anonymous. They alway want to show off that they have won.

Kentucky couple almost threw out the lottery jackpot
In michigan if you win over 10,000 dollars you can remain anonymous. But if you win Mega millions your exempt from this, and your name will be released.

Idaho Lottery insists that Powerball winner reveal identity
So why didn't he do it? I'm pretty sure he would have contacted a lawyer first thing. Wouldn't a lawyer know something as basic as this? Maybe creating an anonymous trust fund isn't as easy as people think.

Idaho Lottery insists that Powerball winner reveal identity
Idaho Lottery Commission officials had denied his request to remain anonymous, arguing that state law and the integrity of the lottery required that his name be made public to show he had no ties to lottery employees or vendors. It appears they have reasons they believe are valid for demanding an identity of the winner, but that still doesn't explain why they'd use that, once it's confirmed, by splashing it across the media. It strikes me a person needs a good friend who's also a lawyer, willing

I enjoy the challenges of picking mm and pb. They make you work hard to come up with that winning number. And that's about all that I've been hitting on in those challenges is one number at a time. But I'm usually close.I also like the Lottery news. I like reading about others great futures when they win big. You won't read about mine because I'll remain anonymous. litebets

If you won a lottery jackpot..........
If I had the option of staying anonymous I would, but Oregon doesn't allow that. It shouldn't be too bad though, because all you have to release is your name and city. I'd avoid any kind of press conferance. Unless I'm the next Jack Whittaker, I figure people will forget about me in a couple months and they'll be hounding the newer big winners.

If you won a lottery jackpot..........
Despite the option of forming a blind trust and remaining anonymous, it seems like many people are going public instead. What are your thoughts?
