So we can see where the confusion comes from... original post is about odds, but title says probability... Probability of buying N tickets for X possible combinations is ALWAYS N in X or N out of X. in probability X is the possible combos and cannot be reduced, your probability with 2 tickets of a pick 2 is ALWAYS 2 in 100, buy 5 tickets, it is 5 out of 100.
