An investigation into the director of the Nebraska Lottery focuses on a trip he and his wife took to Greece that was paid for by a lottery vendor, the attorney general said Thursday.The trip was legitimate business for lottery chief James Quinn, but state law bars public officials from accepting gifts of travel or lodging for their spouse while on state business, Attorney General Jon Bruning said. Contract controversy reveals D.C. Lottery's tangled roots
Jerry Cooper, the man who helped bring legalized gambling and the lottery to the District nearly 30 years ago, called local businessman Warren C. Williams Sr. with a suggestion last year.

Ohio Lottery director under scrutiny for equipment debacle
A year ago, Ohio Lottery Director Michael A. Dolan persuaded skeptical lawmakers to buy $11.6 million worth of equipment to launch the state's new Keno game on a promise that the setup would still work after a year a premise that Dolan later admitted was false.

N.M. Lottery to replace Powerball tickets printed in error
The New Mexico Lottery has discovered that approximately 450 Powerball wagers were printed in error earlier this month.
The wagers were purchased from two self-service lottery machines provided by Intralot, Inc., the lottery's gaming system vendor.
Players who purchased those wagers will be offered a replacement ticket for the Jan. 28 drawing.
The error occurred when Intralot deployed two self-service lottery machines before upgrading internal software supporting Powerball's new format.

Wow, did someone get up on the wrong side of the bed? I said nothing about not getting to the bottom of the truth, you insinuated that all I care about is making money. Look up IGT versus Intralot and maybe you can figure out why I don't have Intralot stock.
