Rising Gas Prices and the Lottery
Periodically I deliberately stop playing for a while. (Could be for a month or so) It really doesn't have so much to do with the economy as much as it does me. I intentionally do it so that I know that I'm in control and not the lottery. Right now, I stopped playing regularly a couple of weeks ago. Because Florida has a raffle going on right now, (ends July 2nd) I'll probably pick up a ticket in May, or maybe in June. We'll see. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
232407 tickets sold as of 05/08, up 18219 from last Friday's sales update from Florida Lottery. At 69 days in, that averages 3368 sold per day. If sales proceed at this rate, it will be around 411000 total sold by the end of the raffle.
I may buy anther one before the next drawing...

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
It is a very good thing from a players perspective. Where can players find lower odds to win a million dollars?
Remains to be seen if there will be a last minute rush to buy raffle tickets. (Hope not!) June 30 is when ticket sales end. Final drawing for 10 one million dollar top prize winners is July 2nd.
I have to believe the winning numbers will be generated by a computer. (RNG software). G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'm not sure if 415,000 tickets sold is a good thing or not.
it's good from the players standpoint of lower odds to win a million dollars, but whether or not the Florida Lottery will cut the number of winners from 10 down to a lower number due to lower sales is another thing altogether. I read the official rules but can't recall seeing anything about that.
If this raffle loses money I can't see them being in a big hurry to have more of them.
