I have my doubts that 2 million tickets can be sold considering the time of year The Florida Lottery is running what they're calling 'a promotion'. The Pennsylvania Lottery's Millionaire Raffle ticket selling window is during the fourth quarter of the year. It gets a nice boost in sales during Christmas when people gift raffle tickets. The Lottery hasn't updated the weekly Raffle sales data yet, but I bought a ticket this morning around 11:00, a week after the lottery's last update. My ticket was 2775xx, and the lottery's last reported was 263272. 2775xx minus 263272 equals 14228. 14228 divided by 7 equals an average of 2032 tickets drawn per day this past week. We're 89 days into the Raffle, so 2775xx divided by 89 equals 3118. 3118 times 122 (number of days in the Raffle) equals a potential total sales figure of 38

Not so much can I afford it but rather due to the low odds? (at least in terms of 'lottery land' odds they're low) Years ago while I was buying some Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle tickets, the woman behind the counter said to me - Well! Aren't you the smart one! She then said At least people have a decent shot at actually winning this. I realized that she was a 'Focal Point'. Florida Raffle 2026: What are the odds? The return of the Florida Lottery Raffle certainly caught my eye. I have thought about the raffle in years past, but did not realize it had been 20 years since the last one. It looks like they have re-vamped the format (multiple drawings instead of one drawing, multiple million-dollar prizes, all tickets purchased valid for all drawings.) I've rethought my ticket buying strategy..... I decided to buy one raffle ticket per week in June. I'm gambling that there wont be a ticket buying frenzy during June. If there is a frenzy, no harm done. If there isn't one, I figured I'd be better off with more tickets in my hand than not. I stopped in a RaceTrack today and bought ticket number 2984XX. Per Florida Lottery, the Raffle sales weekly update is 190300 as of 4-24. We're 55 days in, so average daily sales are at 3460 per day, slightly under last week's 3540 average. So 3460 times 122 (total days of sales in the raffle) would equal 422,120 tickets sold. 640900 Tickets need to be sold just to fund all of the prizes.

Let's work this one from the back end. 640900 tickets need to be sold just to fund all prizes (so, does not includes costs incurred by the Lottery to set up the Raffle, or associated advertising, and does not include funding for education, which is the Lottery's raison d'etre.) 640900 minus 263272 leaves 377628 tickets needing to be sold by June 30, the last day to buy tickets (40 days from now.) 377628 divided by 40 equals an average of 9440 tickets need to

I too have had 'trouble' with what's being argued so passionately in this thread. When I lived in the Northeast, although I lived in New York State, I lived in close proximity to Pennsylvania. Every Fall The PA Lottery (for what I'm guessing is the last 20 years or more) holds their Millionaire Raffle. According to the raffles official rules, a maximum of 500,000 tickets can be sold. Does anybody know if any of the top prize winners of a million dollars in the current raffle will be able to remain anonymous? I won 40 bucks yesterday. I'm going to spend it on two millionaire raffle tickets. If I was ever so lucky to win one of the top prizes, I'd want to claim it anonymously, but I'm not sure that can happen.
