N.C. Lottery may end video poker
The establishment of a state lottery in North Carolina will have no legal effect on video poker games in North Carolina, at least not immediately.
However, some who would like to see video poker banned altogether won't rule out using the lottery as one means of curtailing the use of the video games.
Gov. Mike Easley even mentioned last fall at a press conference called to discuss the startup of the lottery that the state-sponsored gambling games could lead to an end of video poker.

Winner who claimed half of $395 million Mega Millions jackpot sues California Lottery for other half
The store manager in California could not help Edwin Castro for two reasons . One is the lottery office has never allowed any store to publish the video remember they give stores commission and in that commission agreement is a little fine print about release of video tapes. And number two even if the store has a video tape the video tape needs to be synchronized with time of purchase which the store does not Know the exact time so the video they have can make sense if the lottery gives them exa

New York Lottery accounting method questioned
Billions of dollars in bets are kept off the New York Lottery's books.
That's because the state Lottery Division does not publicly report the wagers on its video games that go to gamblers as prizes.
The figures aren't included in the Lottery's annual reports or audited financial statements, and the Lottery initially declined requests for the amounts wagered on the video machines, and the prizes paid, since the machines were introduced in 2004.
Late yesterday, however, a Lottery official

Oregon Lottery seeks to start video slot games in July
Despite the opposition of some legislators, Oregon Lottery officials yesterday indicated that July 1 is being targeted as the start-up date for the lottery's new video slot-machine games. We aren't just going to flip a switch. We are going to plan it and make it successful, Lottery Director Dale Penn said during a meeting of the state Lottery Commission.Penn's comment came as the panel voted to begin exploring the steps needed to implement Gov. Gambling casinos on TX + other states.
First I have to admit I'm biased because I live right next door in Louisiana. When Texas didn't have a lottery, alot of Texans came across the border to Louisiana to buy tickets. Alot of Texans come across the border to gamble in our casinos. The most successfuly Louisiana casinos are the casinos located in Shreveport and Lake Charles, both very near the border. My state would benefit if Texas kept casinos, video gaming machines, and the lottery out<grin>.On a more serious note, Louisi

Another edited video ?
Just another crappy video that been chopped and edited. Obviously there is a difference in time between when the lady announces the numbers and the time the draw takes place. I'm sure they will happen to have a spare video on hand to replace it.
