Two CT Lottery employees on paid leave during probe of botched drawing
Human error with computers has cost the lives in military operations. California Lottery employees go through a Department of Justice background check. How about in Connecticut?

SC Lottery will set aside $19.6 million for potential payouts to cover glitch
Congrats to the players holding such tickets. Looking more and more likely they'll be paid in full. This incident well illustrates how much lotteries depend on vendors for day to day operations. It's possible SC Lottery could recover some of the $19.6 million from Intralot. Also, longer this issue lingers, more chance of SC Lottery and/or others not hiring Intralot in the future. Promptly paying out the players will likely be best for all parties involved.

Illinois lost $4 million by halting Powerball, Mega Millions sales
I can't understand why anyone, with maybe the exception of those far from the state borders and/or only buy low payouts games (ie. Pick-3, $1 instants, etc), would play the Illinois lottery given the various issues with some games and lottery operations, along with numerous payout delays. Because of the euphoric high playing provides to many.

Fast Play / Instant Match Games
Hi Everyone, This is my first post ever made on Lottery Post and wanted to make the first one a subject of something that is relatively new for lotteries in numerous states across the country. They are the instant printout tickets that are a hybrid of the instant ticket and numbers/jackpot computer terminal based game. On February 28 of this year, my home state of Pennsylvania debuted Fast Play . The cash strapped state was too lazy to come up with a different name for this game and rippe

Selling Pick 3 Lottery System in Retail Stores
Have to work around the question, Why sell a winning system instead of using it yourself. You hit the nail on the head Bob! One must ask themselves that very question when purchasing any winning system. And, with all the winning systems out there, it would seem the lotteries would have to shut down their operations because of all the payouts.

What would you do ?
It depends how large a jackpot, but I guess I would make a significant donation to the Mercy Ship, which runs up and down the west coast of Africa, which tends to the severely deformed in Africa. It's basically, a ship that does operations and helps desperately needy patients.

Wa State -- Lottery sales have been stopped July 01
My post is a little confusing, sorry. It is the July 01 date that is the issue. the clerk told me they already got the notification that NO tickets are to be issued after JULY 01. It just so happened it is the date of the Powerball drawing. It is a budgetary issue and The Lottery is one of many programs to be shut down. All the stories I am finding on line are about a week old and most say how the state will get this taken care of. Well guess what? THEY HAVE ALREADY CEASED SELLING TICKETS JUL

With Northstar terminated, what will the Illinois Lottery do now?
Hopefully add more transparency on the business side of operations for the players. That would be a good start... but then again, this is IL

Have you ever won a pick 4 straight before ?
Also Whatzup, I see that you were able to hit straight on Texas twice! amazing! is this due to the power of the TX2223? or did you implement a variety of different systems to get your numbers for Texas? (I dont expect you to disclose specifically the operations of what you did, but it be nice to know if the TX2223 was worth the money or partly responsible for the straights generated)
