Todd, Another Reason MM Underpaid Us!!!
Todd, you told us that, the MM is paying double starting jackpot for 70% longer odd. So, it is fair enought!!!However, the 100% higher starting jackpot, is a 26 years annuity. Discounting the annuity, the MM, acutally make a 50% starting jackpot increase! In conclusion, the MM is riping us off!!!Gamma Ray

One MEGA MILLION Winner
My definition of random includes computer quick-picks, and, of course, lottery machines selecting the winning balls, but NOT when someone is thinking which numbers to play on their betcard. Lottery players with any intelligence will agree that the cash/annuity choice belongs with the player. Remember that here in NY the choice must STILL be made at time of purchase; a ticket marked 26 ANNUAL PAYMENTS that wins CANNOT be changed to cash. And, in Massachusetts, the 6/42 and 6/49 are still ANNU

Advice to NY Lotto 6/59 players
You want the government to tell me I must take the annuity? Are you anti-freedom? How can you call yourself joecamelcash when you are stuck with annuity payments? Sounds like you have a nicotine problem.

Advice to NY Lotto 6/59 players
I WOULD also like to add that each time i was supposed to get an annuity check, i got it one day early EACH TIME. 8 for 8. ACCT BALANCE=approx. $6,700,000. I live in a $850,000 house on a waterfront in florida, drive a lincoln navigator, own 4 jet skis, own 3 other cars, own a dune buggy, my wardrobe is worth more than most of your houses, JUST TO NAME SOME OF MY LUXURIES. Plus my estate is insured in case i died.NOT BAD FOR WINNING A CRAPPY ANNUITY HUH CASHONLY

If somebody wants annuity payments they still should take the LUMP SUM and _then_ shop around for the annuity (instead of wanting the annual payments first and therefore signing away the rights to their money.) BTW, I _did_ mean the WWF-the pandas will twist your arm ;-)

If you are required to choose when you PLAY (which will continue to be true here in New York), choose LUMP SUM / CASH VALUE, or the WWF will come and twist your arm. NEVER take the annuity. Only after you've gotten the lump sum, should you even consider BUYING an annuity (shop around.)

NY betslips for Mega Millions
Of course they're the same as far as the number fields. But there probably are variations from state to state on advanced play. The Massachusetts bet slips for the CURRENT Big Game (50+36) do not have the cash/annuity boxes, so I cannot see the BG-MM slips there with those choices. Yet, the NY slips for BG-MM do have the cash/annuity boxes.

MUSL "Hot Lotto" $1.7 million ($930,000 cash) Saturday 5/4
I expect Ohio and New York players to welcome Mega Millions with open arms. Both states' regular lottos have major flaws. My major beef with OH is that cash-option players are gypped. The OH cash value is _only_ 44% of the annuity amount, which CANNOT be explained solely by the extra four annuity payments (30 v 26.) As for NY, the Lotto 6/59 continues to pay an ANEMIC 40%, which is why a 3/6 match wins YOUR DOLLAR BACK.
