I don't think the number of ticket sales can ever guarantee a jp winner. Even if 350 million tickets are sold that's no guarantee. But the odds tip in favor of it being won when over 50% of the possible combos are sold. It's never pointless. You learned something during this event, so it's a good thing. I love learning knew things everyday. In the future, to save time on the computer, first write on paper what the benefits would be. If the math doesn't work, move on to the next idea. I see it as going either way but, I can't personally fathom having a dedicated set of numbers because I'm then obligated to playing them on every single draw. While it may seem like a long shot, those same numbers, which are seared into the player's memory, will be instantly recognized in the event they're drawn and not played by the person in question.
