Lottery donation decision
A few years ago, the Salvation army declined a donation from a person who won the lottery. 10 million dollar's worth.
The poll is asking whether you would accept the donation if you were the head person in charge.
If you chose NO and agree with the Army's decision, please explain why.
Thanx.

Lotterypost members
but as a practical matter the probability is that the odds are against somebody from LP winning while they're an active member
By voting no they're saying it's impossible for any LP member to ever win a jackpot. It really doesn't matter what the odds are against any LP member winning a jackpot because as long at least one member continues to buy tickets, there is always a chance they can win.
However it is an opinion poll so we can't really debate why someone would believe it's impossibl

Lottery Post Online Record Be Broken Tonight?
JAP69:
Yeah, when I posted the poll there were about 800 people on board.
Now there are close to 3,000. Hope they vote! Let's break that record before midnight!

Systems
I think it's just samantics in my opinion. To me, a hit rate means it's profitable in the long run, especially when I said a 95 percent rate. I don't care how small the increment is, as long as it's positive cash flow, it's good in my book.
It's just a hypothetical question poll thingy anyways.
Sorry, can't make it any clearer.

The Mega Millions is Fixed
I don't know if the pre-draw should be stopped, because with the pick 4 the state has 12 sets of 4 machines doing stats OR anything should be not practical either.
Pre draws decide which machines to use and if they are working properly.
Perhaps we should poll and see if all pre draws be listed as well as the actual.

Creating An iPhone App Section?
MW,
I disagree. it seems he knows what he's talking about. I have a IPhone and would love to have lottery apps on it. I have one made for Lottery post and My statesite already. I think he should run a poll ? Just my 2 cents.

Not winning.
I luv when the subject gets on politics!! Its fun to watch the sparks fly!!!
Funny thing is in all the elections mentioned here no one mentioned anything but the '2' partys. Maybe that is the problem we need more than the '2' party system? Or would that be worse?
Maybe I should start a poll asking 'Did you or would you ever vote for a 3rd,4th ect party?'

Win Your Lottery by Lotto-Logix Is Now Available
To answer a persistent PM Question: If you are reading this post, the book is free with only a $5 donation. Yes I know it says $10 on the page, that's for other people. My lotto buddies on LP get a 50% discount. In fact, I've left the amount of the donation open, so if you can't afford $5 you can get the book for what you can afford. Please vote in the book's poll after you look it over.
Link to the book offer is in the first post of this thread. Thank you.
