OLG warming up to online betting..?
I heard the OLG is currently in the process of developing an online poker site and that you will soon be able to buy tickets online if you are located in Canada. I heard this from a few friends but I'm not sure if it's just a rumor.. Can someone clarify this for me??
I wouldn't mind cus I usually have all my luck with online betting. I even won the jackpot once on a free online lottery I play!!! I never even win a stinkin free ticket at the machine :(
GO OLG GO!! LET'S DO THIS!!

Talk about luck!!
So I get out of my car and stop in this grocery store in Brooklyn to buy a pack of cigarettes when I notice that they have a lottery machine. I go to buy a couple of scratch off tickets when I see a posted winner banner. Someone won $50,000 on a $10.00 scratch off ticket a few weeks ago from that store!
Then, there was another posted winner banner that read someone got all five Take Five numbers and won over $80,000 a week later!
Turns out that 'someone' was the same person!!
Talk about

Ct. man claims he lost $254M Powerball ticket
Absolutely tickets can be destroyed by heat. Last year I left my wallet in my pants when I washed them. Rather then dry all my papers under a lamp for several hours I decided to dry them in the microwave.
Well, that worked fine for everything including money, except for the pick 3 ticket which partially burned up. I went back to the store with my still wet wallet and told them what happened.
Fortunately, they were able to read the serial number and typed it into the computer and were able

Ct. man claims he lost $254M Powerball ticket
After reading this story I am implementing a new rule in my house.
Whenever any lottery tickets are purchased, we are to get a printed receipt with the ticket serial numbers on it.
If the store refuses then we will no longer purchase tickets there, unless we use the self service machine.
That way if we ever find ourselves in this position, we would at least have undeniable proof of our purchase.

Kentucky Lottery installing self-service machines
He point out the machines do not dispense winnings. Winners will still have to go the store counter to collect their prizes.
The machines have that warning right above the ticket scanner, but people will still scan their tickets and complain when they get credits to buy more tickets and not the cash. I've only seen these machines in stores with regular terminals and they are being used by scratch-off players. A gas station put tables near their machine so players won't be scratching at the

you did get the right amount, seeing that you had it (50x50) which pays $40 for each box hit. In the future you can scan your own ticket at the
machine which every retailer has, it will tell you the payout amt. 6 way means the 710 can be played 6 possible ways, and you had it two of
those ways that why you get $80 total.

Post your scratch ticket results
Then I walked across to Kmart and bought a $20 Monopoly after the clerk who was friend of mine, She told me that some dude bought 10 of them and all of them were losers (This was in the vending machine) so I took a $20 bill and a $10 bill and bought a $20 Monopoly and a $10 Million Dollar Holiday, The $10 MDH got me an instant $30 winner with the STAR symbol with $15 under it, And when I scratched off the 420 monopoly, The first spot had the FREE PARKING symbol for a 5X prize, Under it was $20,

New CA lotto $10 scratcher
I feel robbed. I went to an automatic machine at a CVS and got the following:
$60
# 4 to #9 were all losers.
I went back and put another $40 in there
got #1, 2 and 0 then it said sold out. I'm guessing #3 may have been on the display case?
In any case, #1 was a winner, only a free ticket. $90 spent and only got $10 ticket back. GL to you all but I think I'm done with this game. I know no one bought any between my buys.

New Vending machines in Illinois
I checked a scratcher today with the black and white symbol on the front and it read it, and then checked a Little Lotto ticket and it read it, the machine must have just not been ready yesterday.
The only Cash for Life tickets in this machine is the $5 one. I wonder if the $1 and $2 ones are gone or just not in this particular machine.
dr65,
Thus far we're not having the problems you mentioned. Maybe you should put a sign on the machine, This machine is cursed, go see the clerk.

NY Scratch-off Discussion
I usually do NOT tip the clerks. I look at it like this, I spend tons of cash on tickets and usually just ask the clerk has there been any decent wins today? ....99% of the time they just answer naw, just people winning their money back .
I don't think I need to tip when they just rip a ticket from the book and hand it to me. I pay the machine most of the times too.
Now if the clerk told me, hey man just an FYI, that book just had 10 losers in a row, you may want to try that one , an
