I am playing Devil's Advocate here. How would you stop an illegal Alien from buying a lottery ticket in the first place ?? The Tickets do not say that you have to be a US Citizen to play the lottery, do they???. Nino224, I have to disagree with your theory about spreading the winners around. Consider that most jackpot winners are quick picks. Now unless you're saying that the lottery powers that be are saying something like, Look, someone in that town with a population of 256 just bought a QP, let's make sure it wins , then the theory isn't valid. Hey Guru, I believe your point in everything EXCEPT the lottery. We all know that if you were at a slot machine playing for many hours, walk away then see someone sit down at your machine and hit the jackpot---- it would not neccessarily mean that you would have won. If you are asking How can the lottery can always ensure the 10# prize no matter how many people win? A: No doubt there is a limit on how many times a particular combination is allowed to be played. Also the lottery doesn't distribute the entire amount for the prize level on most days, they can roll that over. Here's an extreme case. Jackpot prize: 10,000,000, then using the numbers you posted earlier: %18 = jackpot -- 10,000,000 %22 = Second prize (5+ bonus ball) -- 22/18 * 10,00

I have a question for everybody and anybody. Somebody please tell me why does NCEL have pre-drawings??? What is the purpose of that? I think they need to stop having pre-drawings because they get a chance to see exactly what we are playing, and that is not fair!. Pre-drawings! Come On!They have to be cheating!
